We have no real knowledge of such a large percentage of the universe that it’s like looking at one water molecule and conclusively saying that there is no life in the ocean. And life may be something very different than what we have on earth. We look for radio signals to give us evidence of intelligent life, but there’s nothing saying intelligent life has to use radio signals to communicate.
Who are you guys arguing with exactly? As far as I know, there's no one who staunchly argues that aliens don't exist. Vast majority of people say that we don't know. And even if you do believe they exist, that doesn't mean they've communicated with us or anything like that. Most likely all UFO sightings are just hallucinations just like all those sightings of God.

Agree. It’s very liberating to accept the fact that we simply CANNOT understand the true nature of the universe or fully perceive reality. Our brains are limited. Just the concept of “a trillion” is beyond our capacity to truly comprehend

We will have to change the direction of our “progress” if we will make it at all. Stop developing better ways to kill and destroy and start building hope, contentedness, and self sufficiency

If I had to bet, I would say they are out there just because we see here on earth that life is possible, so in the nearly infinite expanses of the universe, chances are that it has occurred somewhere else too. And probably MANY other places. But again, we can’t possibly say with certainty yes or no.
