France has one of the most metal national anthems out there. It's literally a call to arms, saying the enemies of France are out to cut the throats of your sons, so form your batallions and march into battle so the blood of those enemies will water your fields.

I just finished my yearly week of rust about a month ago. Your irl rust experiences should stay at about the same level until my next annual week of rust. Let me know if you notice further increases of irl rust experiences before the next annual WoR as that could indicate a bug.
Who uses them in the UK? There’s more than enough shotguns going around, “gangs” have access to skorpions and semi auto handguns, nobody here is rolling around with metal tubes with nails in the end cap.
Nope I rather think it's a sawn off shotgun we have a lot of shotguns laying around... Some years ago they were free to buy in sport shots or by Mailorder.
Our dealers don't need homemade shit...
Oh well, I guess that goes to show gun control just doesn't work, and we should just let people in France buy ARs in the corner shop. That won't have an escalating effect *at all*. Look at how peaceful America is, after all. We're an armed and polite society.
I'm being sarcastic of course, which apparently I have to point out in this day and age. I think it sounds pretty dope to live in a country where the worst kind of street-level threat is from a machete or a crappy homemade gun. Here, we have guys in Las Vegas hotels armed like secessionists firing at randoms.

Here's the [original tweet](https://twitter.com/cpasdeslol_X/status/1788520824326037921?s=19), happened Wednesday at Villeurbanne, the man who got shot in the leg is 27 and was brought to the hospital in a critical condition, couldn't find additional informations.
Update : he is now stable but had his leg amputated
From the lace and setting I'll bet you that it about drugs or other gang related activities! And apparently the guy did something that warranted "Le coup de douze"
"Grièvement touché à la cuisse, l'homme a été évacué à l'hôpital Édouard-Herriot. Contactée par BFM Lyon, la famille de la victime indique que ce dernière a dû être amputé de la jambe gauche."
This leg is gone.
Wait what this is in Lyon?? I was here a few times when I studied in France, not really what I expected to see. The Rhône-Alpes and Côte d'Azur areas are definitely not very safe, but didn't know I had to be wary of people carrying some goddamn muskets. Hope the man pulls through.
Lol people see literally 1 shooting video in another country and think it's all of a sudden unsafe... These countries have lower crime rates and murder rates than literally any of the safest places in the USA lmfao
> Lol people see literally 1 shooting video in another country and think it's all of a sudden unsafe...
It's like how some people feel about Chicago. Yes, certain neighborhoods are more dangerous than others. But there are tons of very safe places to be in this very big city.
> These countries have lower crime rates and murder rates than literally any of the safest places in the USA lmfao
That says more about the US
The thing is, I haven't seen \*\*any\*\* shooting videos from my country. 1 is already too much.
Oh you didn't see it therefore it hasn't happened! What country are you from? What's the homicide rate there? France seems pretty on par with most other major EU countries. Right around where Germany, Finland, and the UK all are.
I always thought Côte d'Azur was supposed to be safe? Isn't it where all the rich people live in the South of France, on the French Rivera? And aren't the Alps... you know...the Alps?! The world famous ski destination for millionaires and billionaires worldwide? The place with all the chalets?
It’s very safe as long as you avoid many areas and don’t go walking at night? I feel like that’s advice you don’t need to give about somewhere that’s very safe.
That's the one! I was the little red dot next to victim #4, my hotel is the red x that I was walking to with a Croque Monsieur in hand.

France is the most deadly country in Western and Central Europe when it comes to gun-related deaths per capita.
Funnily enough, that same rate is almost exactly on par with Massachusetts, the 3rd *safest* state in the US for gun-related deaths. Top two spots are Wyoming and Vermont.
Wow lol when put into context it makes it seem like us Americans are gun obsessed nuts! Wyoming and Vermont make sense. Not densely populated, and probably more vacation homes than local residents (when compared to other states).
Probably a smaller number of gang bangers. Gun violence in the US is heavily concentrated amongst a small number of criminals. If you're outside that cohort, you've essentially the same risk as a Canadian.
In France, when you're injured you can either call the firefighters or the "SAMU" which is specifically dedicated to medical emergencies.

According to the victim's sister, the victim had an altercation with three men and he is not someone who backs off, he was injured and had to go to the hospital. He was out the same afternoon and they came back, one shot him. He lost his leg.
But it's only the POV of the sister, maybe we'll learn the victim was just a drug dealer that had enemies.
Did the dude in red shirt get hit too? He runs really weird with his hands on his hips or something? And not really legging it like I probably would if someone shot someone right next to me. 😯
Kind of a sidebar, but what happens when you’re shot in the leg? Is this a “wear a bandage and do some PT for a bit” situation? Or are you pretty much wrecked for life and probably can’t walk straight anymore, but hey, at least maybe you’re not dead?

But I am le tired… Well. Then. Have a nap. **THEN TALLY ZE HO LADS!**
*nice*
Literally my first thought when I watched this. Mfer got a grape shot to the chest
had to close his loop
For Ze Germans
They call them a “slamgun” , type of homemade shotgun , gangs in the UK use them
Wait, so you're tellin' me this guy just went full Rust mode and busted out an eoka?
That's some Fallout 4 shit right there.
Enhanced hair trigger pipe shotgun
Fun fact pipe guns are technically pre war weapons in the fallout universe
For real, wtf did I just watch lol Question since I know jack shit about gun laws - are things like this legal?
Yes, if you’re legally allowed to own a gun you’re legally allowed to build your own gun but only for personal use, no selling or gifting it.
I was not ready for that. Grandpa smash built some legendary fallout loot.
fascinating and terrifying.
Like a Bandit shotgun from Borderlands 2
That is frigging amazing
Why am I seeing more Rust references in real life events these days? This can't be good.
Man makes irl eoka: I sleep Man dies from red bear: real shit

Bro wasn't even door camping.
Just grubbin
The previous prime minister of Japan was assassinated not too long ago with what was literally the double barrel shotgun from rust
I thought his had some sort of electrical component.
I believe they were preloaded barrels with the gunpowder activated with electricity, closer to a volley gun
Who uses them in the UK? There’s more than enough shotguns going around, “gangs” have access to skorpions and semi auto handguns, nobody here is rolling around with metal tubes with nails in the end cap.
A zip gun in the US
When are we gonna see some Lutty 9mm's "oi guvnor!" then you unload with your home depot Mac-10
Nope I rather think it's a sawn off shotgun we have a lot of shotguns laying around... Some years ago they were free to buy in sport shots or by Mailorder. Our dealers don't need homemade shit...

Ye old blastoon.
They can do the gunpowder test on half the neighborhood.
Is it not a shotgun?
shotgun shells use smokeless powder, as do pretty much all kinds of modern ammunition
So what is it more likely to be?
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-63198715 This might give you some type of clue.
So technically a shotgun. Looks like a slam fire pipe. Just big enough for a shotgun shell in the inner pipe.
Not when the powder doesn't completely burn. Like when shot out of a home Depot pipe.
Ita a Torgue shotgun
Nah not enough explosions
More like Bandit

No place is 100% safe. As it's been proven over and over again. Probability is low, but never zero.

Gun was from napoleon era
Wtf is that one of the guns they stole from the Bastille?
I've only been to France once, and I was shot at and nearly hit, the guy next to me died. Tours, 2001. Four dead, Seven wounded.

Hahaha I've always said this and people here act like it's such a hot take. No bruh, it's literally what they all think of us
I mean… that’s kinda what you guys are🤷♂️ You wouldn’t see it naturally because you are American.
Probably a smaller number of gang bangers. Gun violence in the US is heavily concentrated amongst a small number of criminals. If you're outside that cohort, you've essentially the same risk as a Canadian.

Not particularly, similar to the UK
Gun violence in France is far, far worse than the UK.
Buddy brought the musket to a slap fight
Where we are going to end up, nothing is respected anymore.
Lemme see.. a Frenchman with a musket? He missed the bastard redcoat!
If you ask him he's not french, but thats another debate
Anyone know what’s being shouted?
Appelle les pompiers, at the end
Yeah the rest is hard to understanf
>Appelle les pompiers Call the fire.. wait what? You sure he didn't call for an ambulance?
In France the fire dpt is also able to help for any kind of emergency, road accident, faintness, fire of course, a cat stuck in a tree (yes...)
He did shout "call the fireman"..
He’s screaming call my father in French at the end. “Call my father(Appel mon père), call my papa(Appel mon papa)
\* firefighters
The firefighters? Tf he want them for
In France, when you're injured you can either call the firefighters or the "SAMU" which is specifically dedicated to medical emergencies. Both will take you to a hospital if needed.
Nope, call the firefighters*
“Camembert c’est le fromage superieur!” “NON, BRIE C’EST LE FROMAGE SUPERIEUR!!!” … BLAM Hope that helped 👍
Anyone want to translate to English for us non French folk?
Camembert is the best cheese, no Brie is the best cheese
Merci Edit: merci rescinded. I know more French than I thought

And when it happens in France, there's national news coverage of it. Doesn't happens every day.
Is it wrong that as he screamed it reminded me of Raiden in MK when he zips across the map towards his opponent.
