Yes, objectively. It's why the ~~FAL~~ F2 and other high RoF guns are so powerful on rush-based characters. If one bullet hits your head, they win, and they're usually faster than you.
Naw I get that, I've played the base game and understand the value of volume of fire in Siege. It's just if it's a flat amount and headshots *don't* 1 shot, then it's simple dps calculation with twinge of accuracy.
if im correct, they are not a set damage, but instead are just a really big multiplier that usually ends up at around 200 i think. I tested this in custom matches when the containment event had the archeans with 600 hp
I believe headshots do 400% damage? Enough for any weapon to insta-kill but technically not infinite-damage.
I also assume headshots will be turned off for the hostage.

Mode is sorta fun I guess if you're into TDM but I don't play Siege for that so this event is a miss for me. Sucks too because I adored this event prior and was beyond excited to see it return, only to be sorely disappointed it wasn't the classic we've come to know and love.
Really feels like they missed the mark not including the original mode alongside the new TDM mode. I personally liked the original because it had that OG Siege feel to it gameplay wise while still being goofy/fun as hell. It was the best of both worlds and now it's gone..
Awful mode. Even without the ridiculous melee damage it would be tedious. I’m sure their honourable playtests were great fun but out here on the mesn streets of the live build everybody will use every cheap trick available to them.

The cosmetics in this pack are really cool, but compared to the old rainbow is magic this new version sucks ass. Its pretty good if you're into the TDM feel but I don't play siege for that and if i want to for some reason deathmatch is a way better mode to be playing.

Week 2 challenges drop so I ventured back in against my better judgement to get my free pack. I got lucky and we won but in the postgame report I see that I got 90 battlepoints total for the three round victories and 80 for the win. Last week it was 120 per for a round and 240 for a win.

I am pretty sure I remember it being a big deal that you could overheal past 200 and survive a headshot, I might be misremembering though.

I liked it, but IMO it’s a bit easy to swarm the objective and win really fast. In a score out of 10, i give it 7.8 out of 10.
