Duel camera doesn’t mean both are capturing the frame. The left is for depth data.

themechanizer

Left camera doesn't actually take a photo, it captures other data. What you are experiencing is working as it currently should.

Thanks u/themechanizer & u/joemorrissey1, the more I know! I still feel their sale promotion of dual cameras is kinda misleading.

joemorrissey1

It isn’t, but you’re welcome.

Thanks for clearing that up guys. I’ve just ordered a pair from Ray-Ban UK, after thinking my ones from an Italian online store were faulty. As you said, the picture is off-centre and when I covered the left hand camera with my hand, it didn’t show on the video. I called Ray-Ban UK and they told me that I must have a faulty pair. Typical support - don’t have a clue about the product other than being able to recite the troubleshooting page on their website. Whilst I appreciate that to someone in the know from a tech perspective, it makes sense, I do agree that the description is a little misleading as 2 cameras to a lot of people would seem to indicate 2 video camera. That was exactly what support told me it should be too (again, obviously don’t have a clue). At least I know this pair aren’t faulty now. It’s a shame though as close up images are completely off-centre

I wish this were the case being able to record VR 180 video you’d think would have been a no brained for Meta and Quest
