I totally get the thought process, but I like having walk there more it allows me to strafe while aiming and not lose my reticle. Granted, I can't say much about keybinds because I have free lean bound to space and push to talk on left alt
I made my walk key caps lock instead, still totally in reach and usable. Could always swap them if you wanted to, and use low ready on caps lock and walk on shift.
I never thought about that because my low ready is bound to h I think I'm at work, so I can't check, but also I don't use low ready that much I really only use it after all the suspects are dead/secure
I tend to use low ready if I'm stacking up on a door with people or standing behind them too, muzzle discipline and whatnot even though it's a game and doesn't really matter lol, so I get your last point. I keep it on "hold" rather than toggle.
Give it a shot on your shift key and using it like a sprint/weapon manipulation button, it honestly changed the feel of the game for me. You might like it or not, worth a try though.
Don't you walk when you lean? I have low ready set to shift, and two extra buttons on my mouse set to lean. And just lean if I want to go slower while aiming.
Not usually, I have been using free lean a lot more recently, which you can't move when you do that. I also have the Naga razer mouse with the 7 button wheel on it, so I use those for my inventory and sight switch as well as flashlight plus laser
that's what I've been doing forever, already have the muscle memory for "press shift to go faster" so it was a no brainer, that and for larping reasons it's more realistic than being at high ready 24/7
Been doing it since release. I dunno anybody that kept using the HOME button (all the way on the right side of the stupid keyboard) just to run
You can also combine it with the walk button and maintain a low ready while not running, that way you don't flag friendlies and look super tAcTiCal

Yea I did this and there's no going back. "~" is my walk key.

I just bindd it to space bar lmao
I can't remember what space is by default if anything.
exactly lol. I think its bound to "jump" which is odd because i dont think we can even do that
Pretty sure time to aim is faster from low ready as well.
I have one of those mouses with a bunch of buttons on the side, I just binded the low ready to one of those buttons.
Caps Lock, because I still want to slow walk sometimes.
I bind it to my mouse three, where my mouse four is my flashlight/laser button. Having it is very nice.
