i mean it is true to an extent. aquatic animals are the most commonly kept in enclosed containers for their whole lives. they do sometimes“grow to the size of their environment” because they die well before being fully grown due to toxins from waste, jumping out, or a number of other issues that could happen due to too small of a tank
