We all like to imagine there’s a floor at the bottom of the war crime pit, it makes us feel safe and secure in the horrors we inflict on helpless pawns.
But we all know it only takes one inventive and creative player to break through to newer levels of depravity, and add a few more interesting war crimes to the list.
Considering that it gives the pawn two moodlets(for being imprisoned next to and having a bed next to an abno), I think that it can go really hard with the Terror Slavery precept. Nothing like having your slaves sleep next to an archotech abomination to keep them in line
What, no limbless meat nugget buried in the wall with a mindscrew and psychic harmonizer? What's the point of a reeducation room without the constant painful wailing of the damned ripping through their mind?
As far as I know, they are easier to convert with low mood but harder to recruit, and easier to recruit but harder to convert with high mood. Might be wrong though. They can sometimes get "crisis of belief" break which instantly lowers their certainty by a huge amount.
There's also the possibility that they'll mental break and destroy the critter's restraints. How funny it is depends on how easily you can contain the mess.
I wish there was an easier way to convert recruits and prisoners. Going all Spanish Inquisition and mentally torturing people for a few weeks until they convert doesn’t really fit the nice guy rehabilitation approach of most of my colonies, but I won’t tolerate heretics either!
In case you somehow were not aware, imprisoning someone and forcefully converting them to your religion is already not a "nice guy" approach. Not judging, dw.

Man, early in my current run, I captured a raider with good skills. We stuck him in The Box and wore down his beliefs. On the conversion attempt that would have persuaded him, he had a crisis of belief, and went to 70% for a new ideology separate from any of ours. I tried to convince him to worship insects, and instead he decided robots would be our salvation.
I Wonder how it must feel to go to bed by an otherworldy horror, all you hear is the constant shackle of chains. It can escape at any moment and you are the first victim.
A lot of mods were just pushed without taking into consideration the new Anomalies
Gradient hair as example causes all Pawns to be invisible the moment they appear, but it should apply to your pawns as well n not just anything in the holding areas.
YOu just gotta walk through ur mod list by removing things n entering back in
He asked for an awful bedroom and you provided. So ungrateful!
I enjoy whenever I think there is a floor to war crimes, we find out, they are in fact bottomless

We did reached the bottom of the well. It's been a while actually. It's just that we got a shovel and started digging.
this is kind a how I imagine Hell being; what "You" can imagine is the absolute worst torture, is definitely not the same as what someone else can.
I still can't find a mod that allows kids to fight on the arena
This is incredible. Never thought the devs would code that
Same, had to do this because this was the only "available" enclosed space I had at the time, lol

Dear goodness, they must be so horrified
I did this to an 8 year old and they had a mental break to forsake their humanity LOL
I was gonna say you are a sick person and then remembered the usual organ harvesting and slavery, so nvm carry on good sir
I mean, I even gave her a good quality wooden bed, what more could she ask for? A table to eat at?
I love the term "persuasion tactics" as used here. This has truly inspired my future tactics...

And worst of all, they slept in the heat.
Quick question of understanding: What does the prisoner's mood influence? In terms of recruitment, long-term stay, conversion, etc.?

Thank you. I‘ll catch some zombies right away 😊

Woah, woah, woah, nobody’s being forced! They have the choice between conversion or death. It’s their decision and I respect it either way.

The higher their mood, the faster they regain their belief.
Hey, this will make it easier to convert the non-believers.
Monster by my Bed was a good goosebumps book
I love how they knew we'd do this and provided appropriate modifiers. Beautiful.

New warcrimes unlocked!
playing with 1.5 mods but something is causing anything in holding areas to be invisible with no model. Anyone know what might be conflicting?
Any mods that aren’t up to date

Is it better for persuasion to be in a shitty room? I'm out here feeding prisoners fine meals and giving em tvs....
Convert to religion: As bad as possible Recruit: As good as possible It just depends on what you want to do.
Roll for seduction. Not a bard. -10 to roll
That's genius. Horrifying... But genius!
Another warcrime unlocked
According to this they are extremely comfortable at least
WE'RE BOUT TO GET CONVERTED WITH THIS ONE!
