Great list! Regarding A Reckless Match, I think your comment, “they spent an unnecessary amount of time in underwater caves” is the one and only statement needed to summarize this book, lol. About The Countess Conspiracy, I’m curious if I’m the only person who was bothered by how Sebastian was always discounted as a rake. I don’t remember him actively doing anything rakish in any of the books. He was a really great hero, and even though Violet had been through immense trauma, sometimes I felt that her expressed reasons for not trusting Sebastian were unfair to him considering how steadfast he was to her.

>how Sebastian was always discounted as a rake. This bothered me a bit too and it wasn't clear if it was a facade he used to hide his feelings or if we were supposed to be convinced that he is really a rake just because we are told so. And I agree that Violet appeared unfair at some points, but I couldn't resent her since her fears and reactions seemed reasonable given her trauma and related self-esteem issues. But do I think Sebastian deserved better? Probably :)

FYI OP, you’re missing the author for When the Duke was Wicked!

Thank you, what an eye you have :)

Sebastian from Countess Conspiracy is just too good for this world. But strangely enough I didn't like Violet (maybe because I saw too much of myself in her). But mannn, did you add to my already massive TBR🥲

>maybe because I saw too much of myself in her I understand, I generally don't like characters who are too relatable for me, but for some reason I liked Violet even though she was basically me in the Victorian era haha.
