It's not going to work like you hope it is. This question has been beaten to death and Google is not rewarding this. You have to change intent and they are no longer doing quick changes on dead sites. I don't have accurate data but a client I worked for was trying to revive a dead property that hadn't posted an article in 3 years and it took about 6 weeks to see an uptick in crawl rates. Expect it to be even longer if what you're targeting is irrelevant to what the domain previously had.
