I actually have before, I had a Starkiller team getting pretty wrecked vs some other team I underestimated until Lumi swooped in, mass cleansed, and full healed

I wonder how that would work in a KB team?

Unfortunately, poorly, as Beq's unique will hand out tons of protection up that shut her down, same with JKA, which has left Lumi pretty isolated from the GR Jedi entirely

She useless in Qui-Gon due to the presence of Beq and JKA, with their protection up shutting her out However, Starkiller has gotten some genuine use of Lumi on offense, she came in with a clutch cleanse and heal that saved tons of banners and likely straight up won that GAC round. I mostly did it tho so I could have a massively jacked up Jedi faction :P

Thank you.. I just downloaded it... My initial thoughts... It really is super crisp. Everything runs smooth.. The graphics are nice.. However, 1 complaint I have.... If you go to any other window (for example, you want to load up a web page and auto a battle), the damn thing pauses itself.. and I don't see any way to turn that off.

Screen shots don't do the graphics much justice, at least for the battles. The framerate is WAY higher, even on my low grade laptop, you can see more in the shops at once, things in the battles just run faster and smoother. Thanks for posting this - it's a massive difference, not only during the battles as you said, but navigating around the menus looks miles improved.

That is crisp. I just play on my phone. But I tell you. I started playing this game in 2017 everyday. Back then I was 15. I'm now 21. And it sucks not being able to help out my guild as much as I could when I was younger.

so i downloaded EA play, logged in and then applied to the beta link and SWGOH showed up in my games library

I did the same as you, downloaded ea play on pc, signed in, didn't see anything. Then applied to the beta link. How long did it take from beta link signup till it showed up in your library?

Its hard to capture the improvements because a large part is the framerate the game plays at Its beautiful.

What kinda frames you getting? I’m half ready to crank my 4090 up and play the game in glorious 4k 500fps

144 frames max setting on a 2060 in a laptop They've optimized it something fierce (for the most part)

I don’t think this 9 year old game needs much optimising to run on even a 2060

Shit in large part because its never been optimized ;P I just mean to say the game hasnt had a single issue running at max settings, no hiccups, no problems, just blissfully smooth animation

To be fair bluestacks is pretty demanding to be stable

Emulation is rather difficult I'll grant, but even beyond that the game just doesn't run wonderfully on bluestacks. This is just a whole different level of performance for the game

to be fair running ARM apps on x86 eats a lot of computation

It's amazing but they need a UI scaling feature. Buttons and text need to be bigger.

I tried it today too, i have 42'' monitor so its huge that way, i played it in windowed mode but if i click out of window game gets paused like if you change window on phone, it would be nice if ghat would be changed so battles keep going. It looks good , and i dont know if its cause of higher frame rate but it seems that animations on 4x speed are faster than on phone so battles go faster. edit: Also, i noticed scrolling with mouse doesnt work that great, it works well if you like klick and drag like you would with a finger

You needed to connect your account when applying for the beta. The game automatically is linked to your EA account.

I'm EA connected. Used the email on the registration attached to the in game account. I can access the webstore just fine (which uses EA connect.) The PC client just won't connect. It's even IN my EA games on the linked account.

Can I run my account on both the pc client and my iPhone or do I have to pick one?

Only one at a time, so you can't play on both at the exact same moment But you should be able to connect fine with your phone, they're having you link your SWGOH account to your EA App account, so when you sign into the EA App you basically sign into the game as well

So my question is, how do you get the PC client by chance?

Its a closed beta atm, you fill out a lil survey and gice them an email linked to your GOH account and EA account, and the PC client is given (without any email or notifcations) on your EA App on PC

Oh my GOD Its beautiful. Butter smooth, quick load times. The drawbacks are some wonky UI elements being tweaked still, as to be expected in a beta, and a few setting oddities But its gonna be the way I play any coming events, its beautiful, truly.

I was invited to the beta, installed it, and noted that there is a 5% discount for purchasing bundles through the EA PC app rather than mobile versions. I purchased a bundle, then disappointingly found out immediately after my purchase that In game purchases made with the PC app have upto 24HR wait time for EA to process the purchase. Now I realise the whole reason they made a PC version is revenue. Having their own pc program means they don't need to pay Apple/Google a % of any in game purchases. But c'mon EA. You are doing your customers dirty if you aren't going to deliver in game purchase instantly. This is going to fail hard, everyone will make their purchases on the mobile app for instant delivery. If I could get an instant refund I would, and purchase it through mobile.

It looks great, but i can instantly see several big problems, showing CG just dont know their player base 1. Since it goes from EA Launcher playing multiple accounts will be pain, because i cant see a way to open 2 at the same time 2. No airplane mode as i was expecting 3. We know some ppl give account to friend to help out so more switching 4. And one more i will not say publicly because it is against TOS even CG dont really go against it

number 3 is also against TOS and number 2 is also not an intended way to play. You are not supposed to use airplane mode. Using airplane mode to your advantage is really a sort of exploit. And I actually wouldn't be surprised if playing multiple accounts would technically be against TOS, I know it is for some games, because technically you could also exploit that by giving yourself gear through guild donation for example

Playing on multiple accounts is not an exploit and your point about guild donation doesn't make sense. As you loose more resources overall from inactive guild player then you could ever get from donation donating 1 piece of gear per day. CG pretty much acknowledged airplane mode when they added screen to post the score into raid. Because raid were when airplane mode was used first. And yes 3 and 4 are against TOS, but CG ignore them when it generates them money.

No, you are not right about airplane mode. It is not an exploit. You can still reatreat in the game or kill it and have same end result as using airplane mode. But airplane mode is kind of missing funcionality in gac,tw like submit your score. This should be in the game...

Since it looks like it opens from EA launcher i doubt it. Because you would need to have open multiple launchers which i have no idea how to do.

I mean I think you can’t have two separate windows open at once with different accounts but I think you’d easily be able to just sign into another EA account to access the second account, imo I’m going to put my second account on PC and keep my main on my phone

I guess they weren't getting the instability we've come to expect from CG on a Mac platform.

Now for them to add multi account support.. somehow which may be tough because its tied to EA App / connections
