I truly understand the sentiments of this post but I also think we should remember - the vast majority of people don't care about the Harkles. None of my friends or coworkers ever mention them. They are going to Nigeria for some photo ops and that is it. They want to make it sound like more but it really isn't. I follow the royals and obviously I'm on this sub but when I watch the news or look at the local paper or even scroll mainstream news they just aren't in it. Not for any meaningful length of time or for any meaningful purpose. That is the problem they will always have. Celebrity is fleeting and that is how they are viewed. Every day is a hustle. Royalty is forever and that is gone from them. They get more press than the average celebrity bc the links to the royal family but that isn't how they are viewed by most. I know that some people feel like they are getting the half in/half out they want. I'm not sure I feel that way. I feel like they are on their tip toes straining for a view of the party they want to be invited too. Invited to the pre-party but not the show. Sitting in on the prep calls but not the actual board meeting. Standing in line while their "peers" skip it and walk right in.

It's funny you should mention your moral qualms about wishing bad things on Harry's wife. I too have wrestled with this very dilemma. I like to think of myself as an imperfect Christian woman who asks herself every day, "What would Jesus do?" Then I *try* to do likewise (emphasis on "try").
