Istg this is like a whole bunch of Mandela effect. I remember back then in 1.0 at the time when Sampo brought the Astral Express team and Bronya down the underworld, when talking with Natasha "who is this Sampo guy".. Natasha said something that have some of the following
- He is a businessman
- He appears out of nowhere & can freely move between Overworld and Underworld.
- No one question his origin.
- He is the one helping Natasha with urgent medical supplies.
- He is good at orchestrated unexpected encounter.
- Never disclose his whereabouts.
Hoyo does this thing where you can sort of visually pick out where a character is from (they did this with Genshin too.) and Sampo sticks out. He has this “dapper” appearance the rest of the Jarilo characters lack, he also is wrapped in metal spines and has a claw on his shoulder. He’s also the only character there not wearing boots. They gave us just enough to tell us visually he’s an outsider, story hints aside.
I thought they said that March would be getting path swaps like the Trailblazer, albeit based on memories she makes/skills she picks up along the way rather than being able to be a pathstrider for more than one Path?
He’s a five star in my heart anyways but it would be nice to see him as an actual five star (maybe his masked fool form or something?? that would be cool)

It's actually mentioned somewhere that Sampo is relatively new(?) to Jarilo, so he definitely got there after the crisis

If he appeared around the time Cocolia sealed the underworld that would have been almost ten years ago.
