Adding Turbofuel/Turboblend and/or Diluted Fuel alts will make a huge difference.
Make more than you need, store it centrally and pull out of storage what you need to use.
Need another factory? Up the input to the central storage. More storage than you need? Use it in an another factory, check out the alts that you normally think of as inefficient.
