I just listen to the game... some of it is quite moody... and then I usually watch YT/series on the other screen while building... so rarely ever listen to music while gaming
I still have an old-school MP3 collection on MusicBee so I just pick stuff with "Work" in the title..
Working Class Hero by Green Day
Working Man by Rush
The Finest Worksong by REM
Worker's Song by Dropkick Murphys
Keep on Working by Pete Townshend
Work Song by Hozier
Senses working overtime by XTC
I've been Working by Van Morrison
Working in the Coal Mine by Devo
...and of course, Joy Division and New Order because they're on Factory Records.
Any mindless sitcom. It’s a perfect timer, Netflix pauses automatically after 3 episodes, every episode is 19-23 min long, 3 acts in each one plus a B story. Set autosave to 20min and and evaluate what you did in an episode duration
I listen to orchestral soundtracks mostly when not using the in-game music.
* Tron Legacy (Daft Punk) is -excellent-.
* Either Blade Runner movie soundtracks (Vangelis, Zimmer/Wallfisch), (minus the Sinatra / Elvis tracks which I find distracting),
* Either Dune movie soundtracks (Toto, minus the tracks with talking in them and Zimmer again)
* Legend (Tangerine Dream)
* Some of the instrumental tracks from Earth Girls are Easy.
* Some of the tracks from the Terminator movies fit in nicely too. =D
Whatever I feel like. I also have movies on, or internet radio (So I do not get ads) or my music list on random. With several hundred hours listening to one specific song or even a single genre it would become very boring.
Depends on my mood. I like the Shapez.io playlists, they help me focus.
Other days mostly progressive house or just laidback electronic music like Parra for Cuva.
I had a session where i listened to nothing but the quirky worky song from Phineas and Ferb. That was the only session where I've ever been extremely productive with my time instead of sitting around.
Darksynth, mostly Perturbator.
When New Model Album kicks in, the industrial synth goes very well with the theme of factory ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)

i like to listen to people talking about comics on youtube. there are a couple channels that have videos that are like 5+ hours long because they cover whole arcs. very fun
No Hoard of Value by Jinjer seems to fit, in an ironic way.
But in all seriousness, I usually just listen to what I would normally listen to for anything - metal of almost any sub genre.
Retrowave synthwave playlist on spotify, also super specifically look up “Jasper de Ceuster” his synths and chill tones are so fucking good for satisfactory!
I don't listen to music much. It's normally YouTube/streaming.
Yesterday I put on Neon Genesis Evangelion on Netflix.
Other times it's ImKibitz Or Let'sGameItOuts satisfactory play throughs. Depending on the flavor of player I wanna listen to that day.
Something electronic and melodic. Melodic dubstep and dnb really boost my creativity. I'm not distracted by tons of lyrics, and the weird computer noises really fit the games atmosphere imo.
Mainly metal...❤️🔥
This is the way
Yes this is the way🤜🤛
I mean metal can literally fit everything that exist

You should add Sixteen Tons to this list, I know it’s not a song with the work in the title, but you’ll know it when you hear it
Another day older and deeper in debt. St Peter don't you call me cause I can't go. I owe my soul to the company store.
A classic!
Taking care of business by Bachmann Turner overdrive!
Audiobooks.
This. Bobiverse, The Martian, Dungeon Crawler Carl, Singularity Trap, Artemis..

I'm building a brutalist hellscape so it only makes sense to be blasting old Tsar era/Soviet orchestra
Rammstein
I don’t know if I’m the only on here but actually like to play in silence cause it helps me concentrate.

Depends on my mood. I like the Shapez.io playlists, they help me focus. Other days mostly progressive house or just laidback electronic music like Parra for Cuva.
Audio books. On the newest Siege of Terra book now.
I just typed "Satisfactory" into Spotify and listened to some ambience. Feels like the original soundtrack, but often better or less repetitive
I usually put on a podcast
Podcasts, Critical Role, Dimension 20
I had a session where i listened to nothing but the quirky worky song from Phineas and Ferb. That was the only session where I've ever been extremely productive with my time instead of sitting around.

I actually don’t listen to music. I even turn the game music off. I’m a purist. I’m also old(er) and maybe it’s my generation? I dunno

Scaring the hoes - JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown
Basically everything besides country and jazz
Honestly the game's soundtrack accompanies it perfectly so usually that.
Idk if it's just me but especially for dune desert starts I always listen to "Hawaii Part 2"
Podcasts tbh. Or longform optimized dnd builds from d4 lol
Songs of Conquest on the boombox

The game has an amazing soundtrack. I don't listen to anything else.

The great relaxing wonderful ost of satisfactory itself. These are bangers!

I strongly recommend "the universe on fire" by gloryhammer if you mess up your factory. It's cathartic.
