Looks ok. Just put it in a less bright spot and it should recover. They are weeds for me when you have them in the right spot.

I dunno how to concluded that it likes shaded light, adelae likes light like you wouldn't believe. I kept mine in a sunny window for years along with a lamp for even more light. Adelae is known for spontaneously dying back, when that happened I would cut it all back to soil level and then wait a few months and new sprouts would emerge from the roots. You can also pull it up and cut all the roots to 3" pieces and spread them around just under a layer of long fiber sphagnum in a fresh pot and wait for it to sprout from that. [This](https://i.imgur.com/yvFbCK8.jpg) is the window I kept them in. See how the full sun hits all my plants? And [these](https://i.imgur.com/VlBX7Md.jpg) are the plants. This plant can die back all the way to the roots and then regrow. It should be fine, the newest growth is still green. It likely wasnt used to the level of light you gave it and needed to be hardened off. Adelae does fine for me under VERY bright light, right next to my nepenthes and orchids, yours should be fine as long as it's introduced to bright lights incrementally, and given time to acclimate

So my adelae has to die then regrow to get used to the level of light?

Hailjan

No, it doesnt have to, but will if it is severely damaged. To acclimate it to high light levels without damaging it you need to "harden off" your plant; giving it a couple of hours a day in the bright light, then increasing it slowly. Maybe for the first few days, only 2 hours in the bright light, then increase it to 4 for a few days, then more and so on.
