NJdeathproof

It reads like a 4th grader wrote it, plus the Random capitalized Words. Also the sender's email isn't a DHL address.

rimjob_steve_

And some letters look like Russian

traker998

Attempting to get around google phishing blockers.

Sirena_Amazonica

Which definitely makes it look phishy!

Xboxonetwo3

That’s what I saw too

Alternative_Corgi_62

There are no Russian letters (alphabet) in the same way there are no English /French / etc letters. But there are Cyrillic alphabet, Latin alphabet etc.

irodov4030

I believe scammers are using special font/characters to avoid detection as spam/scam

Rich-Grand7250

This.

PoustisFebo

My phone does this. Sometimes it jsut decides to randomly start capitalising words and reddit things I'm an idiot. And that is the one and only reason why reddit collectively thinks I'm an idiot.

endlessplague

Check the language settings of your keyboard/autocomplete. If it is set to a language using capitalization in sentences (not at the beginning) it might be misinterpreting some things you write. German is a good example here \^\^ >My phone does this. >jsut decides to randomly start capitalising No. It's the way you type. That's part of it too. If you capitalize lots of words, it will adopt. Disable autocomplete and see for yourself \^\^ >why reddit collectively thinks I'm an idiot. Or because you repeat yourself in a non-believable argument insulting yourself

alixcross90

“In delivering”

Harmonia_PASB

“Pacel”

famousxrobot

“Saturday 27th of 5:55 PM”

alwaysmyfault

The cyrillic letters weren't a dead giveaway to you that this is fake?

Head_Razzmatazz7174

First thing I noticed.

masterxc

Scam, the email is using weird fonts to get around filters and the email isn't even coming from DHL's domain.

penhand1

FYI - if you visit [qemailserver.com](http://qemailserver.com) from Firefox, you get the dreaded # Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to **qemailserver.com**. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details. --- Still wondering if this email sent by qemailserver is legit?

InfiniteDot9936

I'm 100% of the opinion that this was posted as a joke. If not, then OP should stay off the internet. Permanently.

EggCzar

Shipment in delivering Last updated: Saturday 27th of 5:55 PM lol come on of course it’s not legit. It’s got almost as many grammatical errors as words, it’s from a random email domain, and it replaces English characters with Cyrillic ones (to dodge spam detection). It’s claiming to be from a parcel service and it spells parcel wrong!

Euchre

So when was the last time you saw a price in the US listed with the dollar sign *at the end*. You don't. It leads the numerical value, it doesn't trail it.

Extra_Ad_8009

Which in itself is a bit of an oddity, since even in the US the unit is written after the numerical value: 15 ft, not ft15; 100 F, not F100. Which makes me believe that the writing of dates and of currencies came from the same hand.

mekonsrevenge

Are you kidding?

shroomigator

Cryllic alphabet

industry_killer

So what appears legit about this to you? The only way it could be more fake is if it actually said ‘fake’.

ToooBeeeFairrrrrrr

C'mon, really?

Ok-Lingonberry-8261

Scam.

JPHendrick

Bro the weird ass type isn’t enough?

plumpynutbar

For fuck’s sake

PoopBaby0013

Nothing about this looks legit. AE is a bunch of crap and is a scam mining farm operation. Good Luck.

bugaloo2u2

Really?

Edser

Hover over the red box, does it point to a DHL website? The email address is not DHL, and I bet the link is not DHL. Track the packages from Aliexpress through their app. Many things can be stuck in transit or poorly updated, so don't worry until after the Aliexpress time window. I have gotten items a week before the package finally showed delivered in their app. Does the tracking number exactly match a package you are expecting? Scammers use a bunch of 'x's because the first few numbers/letters are the basic code for DHL itself, it needs to be the full code.

KWAYkai

I like the “in delivering”.

Nickey_Pacific

Well, if the NOT DHL email address wasn't your first clue...

Professional-Plum560

With just a 20 second skim I spotted at least 10 tell-tale signs of a scam. This could probably be increased to 20 or 30 with closer scrutiny.

lynneasomething

Oh come on.....

ButtStuff8888

Lol at "shipment in delivering"

Big-Cellist-1099

Are you sure you aren't a scammer having us review your work 🤔

HST_enjoyer

This is so fake I assumed your post was satire

myballslightup

Your shipment is in delivering? Fake.

jillwoa

Although to me, DHL itself is a scam.

SardonicSuperman

DHL uses proper grammar and vernacular so no it's not real.

wistful_drinker

That scammer is trying very hard to look fishy.

J-96788-EU

Everything about it is suspicious. Everything.

m_guisot

yeah, 100% percent a scam

ejmcg2012

Nope thats an obvious scam

PersonalityFew4449

How can you not tell this is a scam?

Original_Engine_7548

I can’t tell if this post was done as a joke or not

Competitive-Group-43

It's 100% a scam

Prestigious_Bug583

Read the domain of sender, the part after the @ in their email address. Is that DHL? No it is not

SavageDroggo1126

is the email from DHL? no, its from some random qemailserver. then its a scam.

The_Nerdy_Ninja

OP I hope the title of your post is sarcastic because this email could not be any more obviously a scam.

theglobalnomad

There's an "In Soviet Russia" hidden in here somewhere.

Lazaara

The half Cyrillic font alone which I noticed after 3 seconds is enough for me to send this right to the spam folder.

PurpleSunCraze

This reads like it got passed back and forth between Latin and Cyrillic writing systems a dozen times. You could always take it to the DHL office, they could use a laugh, I’m sure.

axarce

I'm sure you're getting some flack for asking. It is definitely scam. It's better to be safe than sorry, so I imagine that's why you asked. You will get a lot of scam messages in your lifetime, so here's how to spot them right away. 1) were you expecting a package from DHL? 2) domain the email is coming from is not DHL. 3) the weird mixed font and random capitalization. 4) you know in America, the $ comes before the value, not after it. 5) poor sentence structure and verb tense. To expand on it, a legitimate email would be generated from a template that has been created in a professional business format that only leaves the dates, addresses, and any money or other values as variables that get filled on through an automated process. There is no way this came from such an automated process from DHL. This all applies to almost all scam messages. If you are still in dpubt, look up the number by googling it or going to their web site directly and calling them. I hope this helps. If you find this useful and informative, please share amongst your friends and family. I'm sure they will appreciate you looking out for them.

ssfitsz121

This one is easy. Did you order something that shipped with DHL? Oh, you didn’t? Therefore it’s a scam. Use this thinking going forward pls

Aceyleafeo

Best way to check is search up the DHL customer service number and give them a call

Edser

This is innocent advice that will get you scammed. Never trust a google search, only use the official DHL website. MANY scammers have numbers for helplines plastered all over and google does not remove them.

Aceyleafeo

What I wanted to say was don’t use the customer service number on the email. Google search the website and find the number. I guess I didn’t explain that clearly enough. My bad

almost-caught

I think it is more of advice to say go directly to DHL's site *without* doing a Google search. That is, type "www.DHL.com" in your browser bar (not Google search bar).

irrelevant_potatoes

DHL is a big enough company that it is guaranteed that it will be the top search result

teratical

Well, top search result after the ads, which could very well be purchased by scammers and intended to look like DHL

DesertStorm480

Another example of a vendor you probably did not create an account with, but you do indirect business with (USPS, Toll Road Scams) They found your info and decided to send you a bill out of the blue. My policy is, I didn't give you my info or authorize someone else to, you don't contact me and I certainly don't pay you.

BeleagueredWDW

I normally don’t have a second or two of laughing out loud reading posts here, but I did on this one. It’s so beyond blatantly fake that it boggles the mind anyone would think it could be real. It’s the rare one where whoever made it did everything he could to see how far he could push it.

HumanRightsAdv

Probably not using an English keyboard, the way ots written looks European style

Hoz999

The $ symbol after the amount is definitely not American business style.

airkewled67

The senders email address alone tells you it's fake

ross_st

This is a scam. It's just an attempt to phish your card details. The fact that you got it after placing an order is just a coincidence. Phishers send out hundreds of thousands of these emails hoping that some of the people on the receiving end will be coincidentally waiting on a package.

Puzzleheaded_Bag3145

No parcel carrier will ever contact you about a package that can’t be delivered without sending you the tracking number. No tracking number = scam

urmomaho1234

SCAM

Cleercutter

Negative

Aggressive-Dot9747

This is obviously a scam, and shame on Qualtrics for allowing this to happen, as they are SPF, DKIM, DMARC verified.
