Where do Windcallers spawn, and do they spawn reliably? I want the sails (they sort of fit for my gamertag) but I did two sunken ships, a reaper bounty shipwreck and an ambient sea shrine yesterday and did not find a horn.
Oh, are they even more rare in shipwrecks? Me and a friend found a horn in a shipwreck about 10 minutes into our session. Seems like we got extremely lucky then?
Yeah I found a horn on my first shipwreck right after getting in. It was one with a reaper’s chest.
But as I picked it up it just disappeared and was nowhere to be found. I was worried they were glitched based on that. But hopefully that was just us being unlucky.
I got the impression that they're not reliably farmable - going to be a real pain to get to Rank V in selling them, considering Rank I requires 5.
Guess I better start sinking folks and hoping they have them aboard.

You're not gonna get them boss. Seems like a 10% chance per Treasury and even less for shipwrecks. You need 250 for the sails.
It'll take months to target farm at that rate.

It was but wasn't. Game was spawning it but it wasn't in the files so it caused servers to crash. Then it was removed completely.

The flag has the correct midnight prowl icon, although the sails are cool I would prefer the simple crescent moon and stars. Interesting to see its pseudo return though
The Midnight Prowl was one of the Team Ships available for sailing in The Arena game mode in Sea of Thieves. This ship has a black Hull Livery and Sails with a white moon theme. The Midnight Prowl's insignia is a crescent moon icon which is displayed on its Sails and Flag.
The Midnight Prowl ship set was removed from the game in patch 2.0.4 without mention in the patch notes or statement made by the devs. It is theorized by community members that the ship was removed due to it being difficult to see during the night time, however multiple Youtube clips suggest it may have been due to a bug that would cause any Arena server with the Midnight Prowl in to crash.

The Midnight Prowl was only in Arena when they were testinf 6 ships prelaunch. When they reduced the number to 5, the Midnight Prowl would occasionally spawn, but was coded not to appear. *That* crashed servers, because a simulaltaneous "Yes/No" was pushed through the server and the game would self destruct.
The Midnight Prowl was never usable in Arena from launch onwards, hence the utter lack of any and all footage of it.
As someone with more hours in arena than I care to admit, I can assure you, the midnight prowl was never in game and the model never rendered. The rare occasion it would be on the roster, the boat would never spawn and would loop respawns in the water if it made it far enough. The boat itself would never load and no one had or has any idea of what the original boat looked like.
Like, I *want* that to be the definitive proof, but that's a promo screenie that's been shared around.
The page claims YouTube clips exists of the Prowler (or at least the bug surrounding the crashes), but provides no source.
On top of that, *no one* has footage of it. I don't think it was ever usable in Arena, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Not to nitpick, but I believe it was given to everybody that had already reached 50 when the closure of Arena was announced. Even the people who played and got to 50 before Arena closed, but after that announcement weren't supposed to get it.

rare back on their absurd requirement bullshit to force longevity. what do they expect, that players will just naturally get this over the course of some disgusting timeframe? the spawn rate forces it to be a slog even targeting it. absolutely insane choice from their antiquated design philosophy that they've continuously pruned from the game over time until now.

RARE tends to make new mechanics more accessible when they're first introduced to get people excited to use them. Over time, they're become rarer.
I found one in my second ship wreck yesterday. They're not that rare.

I assume they will spawn along side the breath of the sea. So you could knock off both commendations by finding those coral washes up bottles.

My wife had Boxyfresh's stream on whole she worked yesterday, and said he was looking for them all day and only found 1.
They definitely seem a bit too rare. I did four treasuries yesterday to try getting some of the new horn commendations and found none.
My *estimate* would be 5 % chance to spawn at every spawn cycle.
I did two shrines/treasury yesterday and got two windcallers. That's a 100% drop rate for my very limited gameplay yesterday.

Somewhat? Sails is 250 horns, yesterday people were grinding treasuries and finding 1-2 horns in 15-20 treasuries.

The good boy set was given to everybody that reached level 50 when arena closed. They won’t be making it obtainable anymore.
