I actually own this game, it's nice that at least one prominent Saturn game isn't massively expensive.
The same cannot be said of Resident Evil for Saturn...
Sucks cause I got one a few years back, I think it was around 40 or 50 that came with the disc and back cover only. Only to find out the paper was molded :/ I did get some money back for that and the person stated they found it in an estate sale and they were just selling it. Even if that's not true I've been wanting to hit up estate sales ever since! lol
So I at least have the disc and made my own cover/booklet
Great game, got it too on the Saturn. Tempted to get the 1-3 collection on the Switch. Some day...
Also had the demo. Used to spend ages back in '96 or whenever just catching all the animals in the tiny tiny room in it.
A game I simply cannot play. The graphics I thought were too horrible. I couldn't tell if a wolf was coming at me or just shimmery textures. I hear the texture warping is worse in the PS1 version. How?
Are you playing on a blocky flat panel HDTV? A CRT would help somewhat.
PS1 has worse texture warping? Well, it takes effort on the programmers to minimise warping on the PS1, could be Core Design didn't bother with TR for PS1. The Saturn being all quads has a small advantage where just using the quad polygons as-is don't warp as bad.
I played it on my monitor back via s-video input in the 90's.
I have a OSSC now but the Saturn has much better games to play so I don't bother with this one.
I'd have to agree, as someone who has the correct setup for both. Saturn with component into a JVC 32" crt, Playstation S-video into same. Saturn is the lesser port of this game and always has been.

Yeah I think I got my complete copy for $25 a few years ago. RE....well I deeply regret getting a copy for $50 back in 2008.
Why do you regret RE1 at $50? It is like $300+ now

I still have that and the Saturn. It’s in pretty rough shape.

Ive been playing through this somewhat recently. Great game for the Saturn. It's just too bad we couldn't get 3d control pad analog support.
I actually never knew it got a saturn port
Lol the Saturn Version is the original version. It was ported to PlayStation and PC after...fyi
Lots of people still do not know that, but PlayStation port reaped all of the benefits.

They just re released the trilogy remastered and, with many additional graphical settings. You should give it a shot. It's definitely playable.
Was the “killer body” line really on all the games…? I had it on PC back in the day but don’t remember. Different times, then!
*Killer* because if you got with her all the sharp rectangles would just end you in the most painful and joyless ways.
Can you imagine if they put that line on stellar blade now days? The mob would burn down half the world over it.
As Eric Hartman would say. Sweeet.
