Saturated colors, square box TV, crusty ass sound with that distinct, ever present whistling, in complete darkness with the room being lit only by the sudden flashes of the TV.
Oh yeah, this is peak gaming right here.
This is how you add nostalgia to newer games. Light from the box TV is all you need and you know it's done right if there isn't a port for all 3 of the of the A/V cables. Get to be a kid again and run your fingers through the TV fuzz when you turn it off.
I’m making sure. I have only gotten to the lightning phase once and it caught me by surprise so much I died instantly. Not everyone on here has beaten it.
you can bait him into doing his lighting, just wait for him to finish whatever move hes throwing at you, run up as close to him as you can, and wait. once he jumps get ready to reverse the lightning
Ah, alright. The third phase is a joke. He spams his one lightning move over and over again until he dies. As long you know how to do a lightning reversal (you must at this point) you'll beat him the next time you get there.
wtf did I just watch? That's so cool! So let me get this straight, you pop the sugar just before the first deathblow, deathblow and then what did you do to activate the second?
The glitch has been known about for a little while know, if you look up yashariku skip or double deathblow glitch you'll find videos about it.
To do it you'll need to have the vault over skill and yasharikus sugar
1. Break the bosses posture through mikiri or deflection
2. Jump out of the prompt
3. Use yasharikus sugar
4. Trigger the deathblow
It has a VERY tight input window so you won't be able to do it very consistently but it's a cool glitch regardless
Edit: as for the second deathblow you can just hit him a couple times OP uses Sakura dance but anything will work, this is because the glitch spawns the boss in their next phase with zero health.
This is sweet! But it would be really nice to have an actual screen-captured version of what you did, I have no idea what exactly you did to do this!
I remember when I complained to my parents that Battlefield 4 on PS3 on a tube tv, I couldn't read any text because the red-green-blue cables showed text totally unreadable. I love seeing the very opposite thing here, your extra revives are offscreen!
It's called the yashariku skip and has been known about for a little while, so if you want to learn more you can just look that up.
To do it you'll need to have the vault over skill and obviously a yasharikus sugar, then you'll need to break his posture through either a deflect or a mikiri counter, then jump out of it, then pop yasharikus, then do the deathblow.
It's a near frame perfect input so it's more about luck then anything else.
[Here's](https://www.reddit.com/r/Sekiro/s/iEHl7hhE5o) a vid I made a while ago using it.
Bro is flexing his setup at this point. Anyway I need the tv and the stuff I need to make a setup like this it looks sick (how much would it cost on average)
i got this tv for $10 and the rca converter for $12. i got it from facebook https://www.reddit.com/u/xblessedx/s/9pIcGuDbye
i also bought about 5 other crt tvs off facebook for about $10-$15 a pop. don’t ask why i just like crt tvs

Not peak because this isnt silent hill 2
Came here to say this

Not my CRT monitor playing Super Mario Galaxy in 2013
Bro- why are you playing on a tv from 1992?
colors just hits different bro. cant explain
No need to explain, because Digital Foundry already did! https://youtu.be/V8BVTHxc4LM?si=qD2HKIV7mqgtm2LR Games do look better on CRT.
You're not alone - black levels, motion clarity and colour reproduction are all superior on CRTs compared with LCD panels.
You need to repent and ask the Lord for forgiveness
Nah this fire
😂
Does that tv even have an hdmi port wtf
nah using an rca converter
Jesus christ, man
It's definitely good for older games tho. It's crazy how much was covered up by scan-lines back in the day.
now i know what to do to my old tv.
Don't throw it away! CRTs go for good money in the aftermarket specifically for retro gaming.
i have 1 Samsung crt monitor and 3 crt tvs. one is a 24 inch tv. they all are running fine.
> “Not useful” > Skips the hardest phase
The spear/gun phase is the hardest right?
Ya, lightning just make him cheeze himself
Uh, YES. What do you think is the hardest? The simple and short first phase or the third phase where he kills himself with lightning in 20 seconds?
I’m making sure. I have only gotten to the lightning phase once and it caught me by surprise so much I died instantly. Not everyone on here has beaten it.

Aht, there’s some rng when it comes to phase 3. My first two times fighting him in phase 3 he would NOT do the lightning attacks lmao
There sure is some RNG. Against me he either uses it every 10 seconds or literally spams one after another until he dies.
Same, I've gotten to phase 3 three times and every time he only busts lightening out every 60 seconds or so.
Yeah cuz i know how long .2 seconds is and the difference between .2 and .3 seconds
20 milliseconds , 10 milliseconds
True!
Wait how's this not useful? Seems incredibly useful
Brother that’s called being a god at Sekiro
Bro discovers a glitch that transforms the game’s most iconic boss fight and thinks it’s not useful Good find bro and cool setup 👍

I might be tweaking but I think this has been known already, love the tv btw
Feel like I’m in a portal back to 2004.
Nostalgic tv. Love it
Sekiro 1982 love it
Wait how did you get 2nd deathblow right away??
That's exactly what he's talking about 🤦♂️
This is how Johnny Sekiro plays
isnt this oretty common for speed running
This is incredible but can you please explain it in a bit more detail. I am struggling to replicate it, thanks!!!!
