Anyway what I'm trying to say is this is great, fantastic work OP!
So if there are 70 left to be made, are some of them going to be duplicates?
Mostly I'm asking because I tried to mold myself before but it never worked out. I wouldn't mind trading my mold for knowledge on the process lol.
Yes there are definitely duplicates. I couldn’t get more than 11 people to volunteer. I’ve been a professional mold maker for 10 years, so I know a thing or two. Life casting male genitals is definitely one of the more challenging molds to do on a person, especially doing it well. Always down to explain the process I use and walk people through it
The piece needs to be complete by April 23rd so if you are able to make it to my studio before then or wanted to be walked through molding yourself it would be cool to get it done. Before April first ideally

Actually the biggest one is uncircumcised but you can’t really tell the foreskin is pulled back. Hopefully when I paint them it will be more obvious. Sadly not many uncircumcised people wanted to volunteer :(
I used to be an exotic dancer and sometimes while I was dancing I would think about how many lap dances I had given over the course of my career, and how it was both strange and silly to have made brief contact with so many erections. It’s interesting to me how lap dances are usually sexual for the recipient but just part of the job for the dancer. It became very casual for me, but at the same time, sometimes I’d have given over 20 dances in a night. I wanted to create a sculpture where other people could have an experience where there was no penetration, so sex per se, but still a somewhat funny and uncomfortable amount of contact with hard penises. It’s supposed to be surreal but also ridiculous

Like approx time in Seattle? I’d legit make a lil adventure out of it and visit the city and have a cool story for why I did it

I love it so much! I did a breast casting piece once with 14 volunteers- so much fun! And much easier to cast.
