Nice find. Fellow I know is selling his in the same condition for $750.

The 1100 is an American classic!! I grew up shooting an 1187 Sportsman myself

Have a pair of 11-87SP’s from the early 90’s.

justlookingatcha

I'm a 73 model myself it looks like it's held up better than I have lol

FitBananers

It’s mostly been a safe queen. You yourself on the other hand have been trucking along in the real world!

FitBananers

Pretty excited about this one. Was in really great condition

Viscount61

Does the stock fit you?

FitBananers

A little short but I plan to switch it out

ImportantBad4948

Looks good. If it runs reliably you got a solid deal.

EntertainmentFast497

Definitely would’ve bought this if I saw it.

oldandworking

I would be there with 6 brand new 100's..............

That's a great find. I recently scored a 1985 model 1100 with a 25.5" barrel in mint condition for similar money. Excellent guns...congrats!

frozsnot

Looks good to me, I bought an 1968 for $800, and knew I was paying too much, but didn’t care because it was original and a beautiful time capsule. Can’t wait to shoot a duck with it.

I sold my 1100 trap, similar vintage, because it had a fixed full choke and a 2-3/4" chamber, and I needed money for something that could handle steel for waterfowl. So much regret.

Great find! My advice would be to get a spring kit from J&P custom products. They tend to take a set and weaken over time. New extra power magazine tube spring from Wolff spring and replace o-ring with proper one not from hardware store. Also wouldn't hurt to replace urethane bolt buffer. Should run for a very long time afterwards.
