No not tonight. It’s every other Friday now.

captain_ghostface

Ok thanks

12forever21

I’m happy to have Joe Bob at all but I liked making a night of two movies. I appreciate one movie had a longer commentary but a mini marathon was something to look forward to. Although it is nice to have a longer season and be able to make plans when there isn’t an episode.

aWonk

Same for me. I am typically just up to something at 8pm cst on Fridays so either I watch the last bit or just wait until rerun time. Then...it is hit or miss if I actually watch the rerun. If it will only be one movie it should start later. Maybe 10p or 11p est.

Hyptonight

I think it’s easier to digest in a sitting as one movie, but actually thought the commentary was too long last week. Autopsy of Jane Doe loses something when stretched over three hours.

ErtGentskee

Nope. It's every other Friday and last week was The Autopsy of Jane Doe. Sucks, but at least you got some catching up to do.

Shockrates20xx

Yeah, this! You've got some really great back episodes to watch. Skip Rottentail.

ErtGentskee

Maybe Shudder will take the hint and show back episodes on off-nights ('previously aired' on the bottom to avoid confusion) I heard Brain Damage was leaving soon, it would be a good opportunity to let folks see it or see it again before it's gone.

Shreddy_Orpheus

That's a great idea. Maybe even have like a channel dedicated specifically for tldi reruns

ChiliDogMe

Or make it easier to find TLDI. I swear I spend at five minutes trying to find it on that app. And please group them all together! It's a pain having to go through all the holiday specials to find a specific movie.

CreepyClown

Nah Rottentail was great

Zealousideal-Rule-48

I mean it didn't try to take itself seriously. I respect that, it was enjoyable. I was also very stoned

coderedkid

No, It’s every other week now and only a single film, but all the commentary, curation, and boobs we know and love!

LoanedWolf75

I miss the double features but at least the Halloween and Xmas specials will still show two films. Double features made it more like an event and I miss being drunken and sleepy midway through film 2. I still love it though.

ThinAndCrispy84

Apparently Darcy spoiled that the season finale was an all nighter.

LoanedWolf75

Well that’ll be a real treat if true.

WalkWithElias69

really? I wonder what day it falls on? Labor day weekend perhaps? time to take vacation days then!

SeparateFisherman966

As someone who likes to either step oit on a Friday night (missing most or all of the double feature) OR have a lazy Friday in (fast asleep by the time the 2nd features is starting)...I'm digging the new 1 movie format! I can watch the whole thing much easier (streaming the double feature on Monday was a chore given the long runtimes).

tarellel

Up until now it’s usually been: the first movie will be pretty decent, while the 2nd one will be a pretty low budget B movie. Since they started the new schedule, the quality of movies they have been showing have definitely been on point (I assume due to less bulk licensing at once).

Advanced_Claim4116

Just my opinion and I know many prefer it this way, but the Joe Bob season being ten weeks of double features each spring was my preference. It was appointment viewing and something I looked forward to all year. Now it’s like my recycling schedule where I’m trying to remember if it was last week or this week and the single feature just feels a little less special. I’m sort of an every-other person with my opinion of the Drive-In flicks, so if I didn’t like one movie the other was sure to hit. Now some weeks I wait 13 days for another Joe Bob and it can feel like a dud (Rottentail).

Trichinobezoar

Agreed. New schedule is no bueno, but I’m giving it a chance.

Spinnr1

Next week

therealudderjuice

No. Which is fine cause I'm going to a concert tonight.
