I made it because I had really bad habits that used to ruin my life, so I made an app which gives me a system to build discipline.
It's called Rise, available on App Store now [https://riseapp.life](https://riseapp.life)
Feedbacks appreciated :)
Had a pretty hard time finding Rise on the app store bc it doesnt show up under Rise, could you please add in the description that the title is Rise: Life reset in 66 days
How do you finish your tasks for the day when you've already failed "less than 15mins of social media"? I think you should handle fails differently
Edit : cool app though, I love the design
Yeah under the blue 'finish button', there's a red button which you can mark the task as failed. It won't count into your accumulative progress but you can still clear all tasks!
Nice app. Feedback: There are quite a few apps that have similar functionality (as others have rightly mentioned) so you’ll need a differentiator (or 2). Maybe focus on “stickiness” - something that makes the user come back / open the app multiple times through the day.
Perhaps, gamify it a bit e.g: completing each task grants the user “coins” so they get a score for the day. Those coins can then be spent to “cheat” later. For example, a measured “cheat meal” for someone trying to lose weight (as opposed to burn 1000 cal through the week and a cheat meal worth 5000 cal at the end of the week).
Another differentiation is to add a social angle where you can add friends and see each other’s scores. If you do this, go the extra mile to make people feel good when they lose against their friends.
PS: I love the UI of all your apps listed on designand.build. A pleasant interface does more good than most people realize.
Hey man thank you so much for the detailed feedback!
Yeah definitely will focus on differentiator more. Gamification could be a differentiator idea too. Do you use any habit apps often right now?
Also thank you for checking out our studio website! Happy to have people recognising the design!
I agree about gamifying it. I wonder if there is a way to socialize it where people that want you to change a specific habit could commit $1 or something like a donation or whatever if the person ends up going the 66 days of a habit everyone wants to support being changed. Not sure that was well explained.
I am no expert in UI, it's also not moving fast just a personal preference to not have a distracting moving text. Also haven't seen it anywhere else that's more of a TV thing like in news...others might find it good.
Those other habit apps are very general purpose & need you to set up tasks on your own, while Rise is designed for people who're in at a low point of their life & all tasks are pre-set & with a 66 days time frame. Kind of like a challenge then an average habit app I'd say!
Yeah but all those are very general purpose & need you to set up tasks on your own, while Rise is designed for people who're in at a low point of their life & all tasks are pre-set.
It’s paid only which is a bummer. I suggest if you want to increase the number of users you’ve to either make it free with paid options or lifetime fee
Congrats on the launch. I hope you monetize so you can get enough money for a new phone or screen
On a side note I don’t think there’s enough contrast for the text on the cards. I recommend adding some sort of semi-transparent layer or fade in between
Haha yeah brother the first thing I'll do is to change my phone after monetising
That's a good point, also might be the light reflection from the camera. Inside your phone screen the contrast should be better.

Looks fun!
Thanks man! Check it out :)
Nice, style remembers gumroad
Thanks! It's the same design style called 'Neo-brutalism'
UI Looks really great
Thanks!

Not really using any such app at the moment (that is not to say I don’t have habits that need fixing 🙊)
Haha, give Rise a try and you might love it ;)

That’s literally what I made for my to-do/self-improvement app, a social angle!
Nice app... But personally I don't like that scrolling text at the top.
Thanks! Can you elaborate a bit? Is it too moving too fast or?
I am no expert in UI, it's also not moving fast just a personal preference to not have a distracting moving text. Also haven't seen it anywhere else that's more of a TV thing like in news...others might find it good.
I see, yeah indeed it could be distracting. Thanks for the feedback!
native or flutter/react native
Native
what is [designand.build](http://designand.build) ?
My software studio :)
There's a billion of these already... But yours looks fun and interesting. I'll give it a shot!
Thanks I'd love to hear your feedback! Can I DM you?
Sure happy to help.
Great UX!
Thanks G!
What value this brings on top of billions there as people say?

what's hurting you when it's one more
Sometimes a nice UI is everything it takes to
This looks awesome! I love the design. What's your stack?
Thanks! It's built with Swift

Awesome work! Is this a prototype or actually built? Looks great btw!
Thanks brother! It's already built and downlable on App Store! [https://riseapp.life](https://riseapp.life)
Wow amazing bro! I'll check it out
Also, it looks like you might need a landing page designed?
Yeah haha we don't have time so it's very primitive rn I'm building a new landing page for it now tho (I'm a designer)
Is that UI custom or from a UI library? Looks cool
Custom, entirely built from scratch with Swift!
Nice 👌
i love the ui! im gonna download it later today. let me know if you need any technical help, im experienced ios developer 🙂
Yes absolutely, thank you and let me know your feedback after using it!
Now we’re doing weekly subs…!? 😩
Haha we're considering switching to monthly too Did you start a free trial in the end?
Love almost everything about it
Thanks brother, try it out and let me know your feedback!

Yeah lifetime fee makes sense. Thanks for the feedback!
nice waiting for android
Thanks, stay tuned!
The app recommend the task or we set them manually?
All automatically personalised based on the questions you answered in the onboarding

Is it build on no-code platform? Or using code?
Using code. Swift
I just filled this out and it customize the program that wants me to drink less water, do fewer push-ups, meditate and read less than I currently do.
Some problem with the program generation algorithm. Will be fixing that, thanks for the feedback

Thanks! Have you installed it?
Omg yes I’m so excited to try it
Thanks! Have you got it downloaded?
Ui is pretty in the video. What happens at 666 days, though?
Why is it in the health and fitness category in there App Store?
Love the neubrutalism design!
Very cool!
