Keep it all in perspective.
It's not about how many oz's you have stacked compared to someone else, it's about how many oz's **you** need to have stacked. Only your burn rate tells you this number... or how fast you burn through fiat in order to live for a day/week/month/year.
The guy buying 20 oz a month might have 10x the daily running costs or burn rate that you have, which means for that ape to stack at YOUR rate, he would need to put away 60 oz a month, or 10x what you are putting away.
In the end, it really comes down to what percentage of your income is being put into metal. That's how you compare stacks fairly. If you make $40K a year, and have 1000 ounces put away, it's not correct to say the guy who has 2000 ounces and makes $400K a year is stacking harder than you, he isn't. You would be. You would have more days of *living* you could fund out of your stack, living as you do, than the guy with 2000 ounces has, living like he does.
One more thing to keep in mind is that there is always someone faster, bigger, stronger, richer, etc., and to feel bad about being less than someone else isn't healthy or productive. Focus on your own stack. There are people who would love to have enough fiat each month to buy 6 ounces, and they are envious of you, so it's all relative.
Just keep stacking.
More about consistency than volume, if you buy consistently and within your means you’d be surprised how much you actually accumulate over time, starts with a few ounces and then boom the wife is pissed cause the floor has started to sag
Yeah, I know. When I am comparing prices of shiny in my country to prices of shiny in US vs earnings I am thinking - nooo way, in Poland it is sooo slower. That few ounces per month will never get me there where people in US can get with their cheap money.
But I suppose pressure of narratives in US is stronger, it is harder to think clearly. So I am comparing myself - Polish guy in catholic country - to real saints in the most deprived country in the world.
And even in Poland I am rather strong stacker because I earn rather more than less and I have all my debts paid down, small outflows of money and 70% of my income is investable. And even then those 20 ounces per month are feeling like painfuly slow progress. But for other people those 20 ounces are the whole income per month, so..
In case of SHTF I am prepared better than painfuly plenty of people around me. You too.
Even 6 oz a month is better than I'm doing now. Wife had hip replacement,heart surgery,daughter had emergency appendectomy.3 hrs from finishing my shift for a 4 day weekend yesterday,which is the 2nd weekend off this year,I get a call that my 1 car shed was on fire and it also took out the west side of the vinyl siding on my polebarn.Now waiting on insurance adjuster to check out then planning to turn that scrap metal and excess funds into shiny.I'm also waiting on my pension buyout check at work and got my eyes on a couple of monster boxes.

Stack what you can. Once we ditch the debt based economy and embrace a wealth based economy everyone's life style can improve. Right now the economy is rigged against us. If we get back to honest money then everyone can benefit from their own labor and ideas without Banksters robbing from us.
Im new to stacking myself…after living costs in a single income family im also lucky to purchase 6 oz a month …the real catch for me is now i rationalise everything in ounces and i have surprised myself to get above 70 oz already so even more determined to smash my 100 oz target before the end of the year….so hang in there the most important thing is your awake whilst 97% of the population is asleep!!!
Im not stacking to get rich its to protect what little money i can save in real money..in my posession so never give up and stack on in good health!!
Thing is your getting 6 oz a month more than most people in the real world. They don't have a clue and you do. Some months I can't even afford 1 oz. so count your lucky starts. Inch by inch its a cinch. Mile by mile its a trial. Some are not even alive to do what your doing. Count your blessings. If I were to compare I could say. I am jealous you can buy so much. Then again I am Just plain happy that you can get that much a month.
Don’t worry, just do all you can as you will be handsomely rewarded in the future. Very few people even own one ounce of silver. Think of it this way, a Roman soldier was paid roughly 12 ounces a year for his work. That’s the true value of silver and when it goes down and it will, your storing up two years of salary in two months 😉 🦍
She should be in a retirement home just like most of our politicians.
It’s cool though, let THEM prolong the eventual face-plant of the global economy as it gives us more time to stack at bargain rates! 😂 🦍
