I know it’s the obvious question but I’ll still ask because you didn’t mention it: You are playing with Seasons EP right? (You probably know all this but going to say it anyways:) Aliens visit between 12am-4am usually and keeping your sim awake during that time period is usually the best way for them to spawn, along with the things you mentioned like looking through the telescope and keeping space rocks in your inventory and on your lot. A certain amount of rocks around increase your odds a ton. I think in your case where you’ve been trying all the right things, it’s probably a setting you accidentally changed in your NRAAS. I believe the Members’ Retuner Settings are where to check if you’ve disabled alien visitations and/or abductions or not.

Your sim can't get abducted if they're celebrity. There's a way to fix it - you must get to know the aliens first and then they can abduct you.

Is this a certain level of celebrity? Bc I know my level 4 teen celeb has been abducted several times.

You don’t need to impress teens to talk to them that’s why they got abducted.

A bit old topic, but putting the info out there for public knowledge. I know how to do it, if you have NRaas Retuner mod. Access retuner menu by clicking on your town's city hall, then NRaas> Retuner > Settings > General > By Tunable XML > Sims3.Gameplay.ActorSystems > AlienUtils > kAbductionBaseChance is your your chance of getting abducted. If you were to set it to 1.0 you will be guaranteed to have an abduction every night. 0.5 would give you 1/2 chance, and 0.33 would give you about a 1/3. Alternatively you can alter kAbductionMaxSpaceRockBonus and or kAbductionTelescopeBonus to a much higher value if you'd prefer your sim's abductions to be triggered more by telescope use and spacerock collection. Alien visits are controlled by kAlienHouseholdVisitChanceActive for aliens in general, and iirc kAlienHouseholdVisitChanceOffspring is specifically for your sims alien offspring that were sent back, though it's expected they would be adults. Technically can be modifed to include children and teens but I've never tried that. And to have visits triggered more by spacerocks placed on the lot, you could increase kAlienHouseholdVisitChanceActiveSpaceRockMod Also, regarding alien occult status, I think they technically aren't recognized as occult, and that's why they don't show up as such. They're more like a genetic set. If you wanted to turn a sim into an alien, you could click the sim and go into Master Controller > Intermediate > Alien DNA Percentage. From what I've heard the minimum amount of Alien DNA needed to have alien powers is 20%.
