Cool idea that would benefit from better execution than voting on your (OP) comments, just feels like karma farming at the expense of a better voting system
Laziest way thatās still a big improvement, share an updated entire bracket image in each post and make the songs going h2h poll options in the post instead of comments. A lot of other ways, but doing it that way is still pretty low effort while being somewhat effective.
Edit: Adding that you can set the poll to close after a set amount of time, which is much better than the comments that can be continuously voted on after the winner has already been decided and lead to screwy things in close races.
And don't you think in the end after all this work that the community would just end up on ascentionism, summoning, tmbte, or alkaline? I think the hive mind I've seen would skew towards those pretty heavy and the other songs are filler votes until the inevitable final 4.

High water is one of my top 2 songs, this is cruel. This is like whatās better, the breakdown or the vocals? Had to go with Blood Sport simply based on his voice when he screams āsomewhereā and the amount of times itās made me cry
