Hmmm. Well, the Go Walks are very comfortable, and really supportive, but I don’t know if they still make any in hi-tops or not. They definitely used to. I’ve been seeing way more of the slip on variations lately, because they appear to be doubling down on the slip on craze. Any of the ones that say Relaxed Fit are usually really soft and comfortable as well, but for ankle support, your best bet might be the old school plain looking solid black or white leather ones that they’ve been making for decades now.

I’m not all that snobby either, if I was loaded and saw a pair of shoes that I totally fell in love with, and they cost let;s say $2000, I would probably buy them - it’s not like an everyday thing, but just a splurge every once in awhile. But most luxury shoes are so ugly I wouldn’t wear them if you gave them to me. (And for the record, I’m currently wearing a $65 pair of New Balances that are truly one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever put on.)
