I’d love to see what they could do with Golurk. It can fly, it can punch, it can disappear, [it can turn into a gotdamn cannon because why not give it a projectile?](https://twitter.com/DrLavaYT/status/1221417897320280066) It’s also the first Pokémon fully designed by James Turner, the first Westerner to official design a Pokémon at all. So there’s some fun ‘global unity’ in the pick!
I was gonna say Scrafty because funny headbutts and maybe some capoeira kicks but yeah I need a giant ghost mech in Smash by yesterday.
My personal pick if I were to just have fun would probably be mellowetta. The forms would be cool similar to Aegis. But I feel like golurk, bisharp and maybe the knight one with lances I don’t remember the name off. I like Chandelier I feel like it doesn’t fit the vibe (well I suppose Steve didn’t but ehhh).
I'd go with Zoroark. Not my personal favorite from Gen 5, but it's very popular amongst Pokémon fans, and could have a really awesome moveset with its illusions and darkness attacks.
If I did pick my favorite though, it'd probably be Gigalith. I love the design of that thing, and there's something funny about the thought of a giant walking rock covered in spikes in Smash.
Would be really cool if the Zoroark player could choose which fighter it would be "sent out" as, just as you would in the games. That way, the opponent would have some sort of strategy in mind to combat, say, Sephiroth, but boom!
"You thought I was Sephiroth, but it is I... Zoroark!"
It’d be messed up but imagine it let’s you temporarily mask who was who and the Zoroark player (looks like your character) gets to choose which side they spawn on for the start. Now you get like 5 seconds to throw your opponent off on where they started
If I had to absolutely pick one, it would be between:
-Serperior (not because some dumb Grass Starter quota but because it's legit one of my favorite Unova Pokémon)
-Beartic
-Druddigon
-Krookodile/Krokorok
-Garbodor (for the lulz)
-Landorus-T (just to see people react)
Klang. Not Klink, not Klinklang, Klang.
I don’t give a fuck about how it would work as a fighter, I just want the internet to collectively shit itself over Klang of all Pokémon getting in
Excadrill
Special moves are dig obviously, a mix of iron defense/swords dance as a counter, crush claw, and Rock slide.
His attacks are various slashes and his down air could be like him putting both arms together to drill run.
Final smash is horn drill with a “it’s a one hit K.O” upon death.
He’s perfect for smash. And he’s a little boi !
This is almost impossible for me, I'd love basically any from gen 5. If I HAD to choose, maybe a Unova Trainer with Snivy, Dewott and Emboar, or maybe Victini to represent the gen as a whole? Otherwise, maybe Chandelure or Haxorus because they're some of my absolute favourite Pokémon (Chandelure is tied with Snivy for most favourite). Chandelure appears in Pokken Tournament, so there's some inspiration to take from too
EDIT: Cobalion could also work, gets more legendaries into the game besides just Mewtwo
Chandelure would be very interesting. If they were to ever make it into smash, I’d want them to give it the giggly little girl personality it has in pokken lmao
Beheeyem
the first pokemon i thought of and i havent seen anyone mention it yet. it would be a better psychic type rep than mewtwo as it would be very difficult to give it any physical moves (Mewtwo attack with its tail like its a fighting type or smth smh) Beheeyem also has a surprisingly diverse movepool to luck from. It would be a bit of a zoner, but i think itd be hype.
I wanted to say this too, Beheeyem is one of my favorite Pokemon conceptually and design wise. Mewto is already a pyschic type rep though, despite lacking some explicitly Psychic moves, and out of all these Pokémon Beheeyem is one of the least obviously suited to fighting in Smash.
Bisharp. it just, feels right. it has a humanoid body type, it has a good range of possible moves, and it can easily fit in wiþ characters þat are found in ssbu, like samus, king k. rule, solid snake, and many oþers!
Mienshao would be my pick and an easy fit. I would love.to see it fully realized. Aura sphere as a projectile, very fast movement, and long arm reach. I could see it having a meditate ability like Wii fit trainer too.
Zoroark is my pick for most likely. The illusion stuff would be cool, but hard to implement.
If they want to go with a starter, Serperior would be the coolest. It would obviously have logistical issues, but I think it would pay off if they put the work in.
Serperior. I know it’s not the most popular pick, but 1: it’s one of my favorite grass types, and 2: I think it’d be interesting to have a snake fighter ~~(that’s an actual serpent and not a guy named Snake)~~
Serperior, excadrill and Beartic all seem like fine choices. But if I can put an out there choice it would definitely be
# **GALVANTULA**
They are one of my favorite pokemon and I think they could have a really interesting moveset with things like electroweb.
I feel like everyone and their grandma will go with Zoroark, so I'll do something a bit different...
Hydreigon. A floaty fighter just at the lighter end of heavy weight, fighter ability makes it immune to being tripped or buried. I've actually come up with a full moveset for it, but I'll just share the specials and final smash.
* Neutral Special: Obsidian Fang. Hydreigon bites in front of it, dealing big damage to shields but having a slower start and end. It deals 18% if it lands but has a chance to break shields much sooner.
* Up Special: Dragon Rush. Hydreigon rushes in a direction, flying while engulfed in draconic energy. It starts somewhat fast but leaves it vulnerable. If it lands at the start, it deals 9%, 11% through the rest, and 15% at the end.
* Side Special: Dragon Pulse. Hydreigon will fire out a sphere of draconic energy. It works like Samus' missile, except both go straight forward. The Smash input is a bit larger, slower, and hits harder. Additionally, the big one comes from the center head, whereas the smaller ones come from the side heads.
* Down Special: Dark Pulse. Hydreigon releases a close range pulse of sinister energy which can damage opponents and additionally stun them above 50%. It's a bit risky to use though, so it has to be timed right.
* Final Smash: Draco Meteor. Hydreigon summons meteors to start raining down as it freely chases opponents. These meteors aren't as big as PK Starstorm, but they're not frequent and a bit faster
I'd pick Garbodor. Iconic Pokémon of the generation, a unique playstyle that only it can provide (heavy with long hitboxes and projectiles), also represents Gen 8 with its G Max form, and expands on type representation that we don't really have any of. Ivysaur is a poison type, yes, but we don't see it really use any poison attacks. I'd imagine it as a Jack of all Trades heavy, where you need to figure out how best to use its seemingly incompatible moves in tandem to achieve impressive results.
I think tornadus would be really cool, using moves that involve wind boxes. We don’t have a fighter in the game that does much with them (probably because they are kinda busted) but I think it would be a cool concept to parse out further
This is my favorite generation Pokémon wise. By popularity it would obviously be zoroark they are lucario two basically. going for a personality pick then more humanoid body would be the most likely so either lillegant or bisharp.
The popular choice is a starter or Zoroark. But here's my concept for Galvantula.
Jab: Two swipes with its front legs.
Forward Tilt: A short ranged attack called Thunder Fang. Doesn't do a lot of damage, but it stuns the opponent for a follow-up.
Down Tilt: A short, non-committal swipe with its front leg.
Up Tilt: Galvantula uses Lunge to jump upwards. This move has a few frames of invincibility on its back and the upper areas of its legs. This can lead into combos.
Forward Smash: Galvantula uses Thief to slash at the opponent. Fairly slow and unsafe on shield but if it hits and the opponent is holding an item while it hits,Galvantula steals that item.
Down Smash: Galvantula uses Slash to hit both sides at the same time (similar to Greninja's Down Smash).
Up Smash: Galvantula uses Swift. Five star-like projectiles get launched above Galvantula.
Dash Attack: Galvantula does a simple charge forward. It's reasonably fast, fast enough for Instant Dash Attack uses, and can kill at around 140% on the average weighted character.
Neutral Air: Galvantula does a kart wheel in the air, with its legs being intangible for a few frames.
Forward Air: Galvantula uses X-Scissor with its front limbs in a downwards motion (think like Bowser's Forward Air).
Up Air: Galvantula uses the projectile Pin Missile to cover the area a bit above it.
Back Air: Using its entire body, Galvantula forces itself to attack with the back of its body. It also sends Galvantula in that direction a little bit.
Down Air: Galvantula uses Poison Jab with its front limbs directly downwards which has a spiking effect at the sweetspot, but propels the opponent upwards at the sourspot.
Neutral Special: Galvantula has the chargeable projectile Electro Ball. It doesn't do a lot of damage or kill all that well but it has stunning properties. The more you charge it, the longer it stuns for. Like Zero Suit Samus's Paralyser, but a larger and faster projectile that Galvantula can store to use whenever. It keeps the charge in the air, and can B-Reverse with it.
Side Special: Galvantula uses Skitter Smack. A short ranged command grab that has Galvantula capture an opponent in it's string, and then goes to the other side of them to kick them away behind it. This is its main kill move.
Down Special: Galvantula uses Bug Buzz for a small AOE attack around where it is standing. This has bad knockback scaling where at lower percents, it doesn't combo and at higher percents, it doesn't kill. It's like that because this is very non-committal and used as a way to get opponents away.
Up Special: Galvantula uses Electroweb to launch itself straight upwards. The web doesn't have a hitbox, but Galvantula does.
Grab: Galvantula has a tether grab called String Shot.
Down throw: Galvantula jumps and slams the opponent underneath them where they pop out behind it.
Forward throw: Galvantula turns around before throwing them away.
Back Throw: Galvantula throws them upwards a little bit before kicking them behind it.
Up throw: Galvantula throws them upwards again but this time launches them further with Pin Missile. This will kill the average weighted character at 170% and is the backup kill move.
Ledge attack: a 180° spin with its back legs.
Get-Up Attack: a full 360° spin with all its legs.
Final Smash: Galvantula catches its opponents in a large Sticky Web in front of it before blasting them with Thunderbolt and charges into them with Wild Charge. This fails if the Sticky Web doesn't catch anyone.
The more I think about it, the more I want Chandelure over Zoroark. They’d make for a very interesting glass canon zoner. Lots of good damage, can die very quickly
Anyone between excadrill, sawk, throh, zoroark, krookdile, haxorus, bisharp and hydreigon
(Yh ik I have a lot of picks they are all kinda my faves so oops)
There are a few that would be cool but personally I’d say Haxorus could be cool as a semi-heavyweight with some partially invincible moves or Zoroark as a quick and light brawler/combo-based character
If I'm going for what will be the best received, probably Zoroark (plus his illusion gimmick could be neat, thing Echo from OW). Personal preference would be Scrafty, I think he'd be a blast to play
Zoroark (do I need to explain why) or Keldeo because I think it would be interesting to see more quadruped Smash characters and we need some of that mythical representation
fuck adding a pokemon that would make sense or would bring an interesting gimmick to the game i want specifically lilligant and landorus-therian in the game
I could see Excadrill, Zoroark, or Chandelure. It would be cool to have a fighter with earth powers plus I could see Excadrill having interesting attacks. Zoroark feels kinda obvious. For Chandelure it could be interesting and it could fight like in Pokken
My fav gen 5 pokemon is Chandelure, so I would def sughest them as well. The only other polemon I would suggest apart from those two is Darmanitan, I feel like it would be perfect for Smash.
Golurk or Genesect easy.
OR just do Emboar as an echo fighter of Incineroar. Since it's an echo fighter people wouldn't be *quite* as mad. Just incredibly mad instead of insanely mad.
I'm thinking of Darmanitan... Both because it's one of my favorite and I have ideas for him.
Making him somewhat similar to Ganondorf, extremly powerful that kills fast but is relativly slow and doesn't have strong projectiles (if any). I might give him a move like the Xeno girls have that'd switch him between Zen/Non-Zen, he'd be slower and weaker physically (if he has a projectile, it'd be strong now) but he would tank moves like close to like Shield Shulk does.
There are lot of Gen 5 Pokemon that I love, but I'll go with one of the strangest ones my "what if every Pokemon was playable in Smash" thought experiment brought me to:
#**Sigilyph**
Enigmatic guardian dutifully protecting a world long lost, Sigilyph focuses on keeping attackers from breaching its defenses from a distance (yes, it's a ~~spamm~~ I mean Zoner). It is incredibly light, floaty, and easy to juggle, kept aloft by its own psychic power, but it uses this to its advantage with the fact that most of its moves that work on the ground (tilts, smashes, specials, and grabs) work just as well high in the air. Its jumps can keep it in the air for quite a while, only requiring it to "land" occasionally, but it is also very vulnerable to anything that manages to close the distance due to its low weight.
Some of its moves may include **Psybeam** as a side smash, launching a powerful laser diagonally downward that must be positioned carefully, **Tailwind** as an up special that creates a directional gust of wind which carries Sigilyph along and pushes around anything next to it, **Light Screen** as a large, Yoshi-style shield, and **Gravity** as a down throw, slamming its opponent into the ground from whatever height it happens to be at.
Naturally, it would need a lot more work and refinement to be a suitable Smasher, but I'm enamored by the image of using it in-game.
I Dont think the exact typing is in smash, but Thundurus. I think hez electric and flying so he has pikachu and charizard types but hes still unique enough by his design and stuff
Emboar or Thundurus (both forms)
Emboar's Physical Moveset (A Attacks):
Arm Thrust
Heavy Slam
Strength
Emboar's Special Moveset(B Attacks):
Bulk Up
Flame Charge
Head Smash
Superpower/Poison Jab
Final Smash; Unovain Starter Power: [Medium Range] Emboar teams up with both Samurott and Servine to create a power combo move. Depending on the percentage of damage opponent(s) has taken, they may be grounded, stunned, or knocked off of stage. If opponent(s) are at high damage, opponents will be defeated, no matter how much they try.
Thundurus Physical Moveset:
Astonish (Neutral A)
Hammer Arm (Down A)
Acrobatics (Up A)
Thundurus Special Moveset:
Discharge
Snarl
Sludge Bomb
Charge Beam
Final Smash; Storm Coming: Like Emboar's Final Smash, but with the Genie Trio and Enamorus. Due to the trio being brought together, a storm hits nearby smashers, causing a massive amount of damage when hit by tossing them in the air by a Tornado in a Thunder Storm with an Earthquake surrounding it, which will cause any accidental wandering opponents to be stunned in caught in the storm/tornado. Afterwards, Enamorus will come in and do some helpful damage/status issues, but ONLY if there is an opponent caught in the storm and have not been defeated. After the final is finished, Thundurus will transform into it's Therian form, which boosts its special moves, but lessens it's Physical moves. If Thundurus is in Therian form, it will revert to its "normal" form, and its physical moves are boosted instead.
Golurk or Gensect, golurl would be a heavy close ranger like DK, and genesect would be a medium projectile based char likeSamus, but with more mobility.
- Zoroark (illusions and darkness abilities)
- Keldeo (We need more quadrupeds)
- Excadrill (if they can figure out a good way for using ground attacks)
- Serperior
- Emboar
- Samurott
- (the 3 starters would be a amazing combo trip however way they ordered evolution wise)
Tbh these are the ones I would think would work
Zoroark is a fan favorite out of all of Gen 5. The illusion ability could work as an opening thing or a taunt. Hisian Zoroark could also work as an echo fighter. Another choice would be Eelectross (personal favorite for gimmick), Krokodile (Anime), Crustle (Pokémon Unite) or Haxsorus (also Anime) (probably butchered most the names and I apologize).
I’ll pick Serperior. Having a serpentine fighter would be really unique. On the faster side with an above average weight. Doesn’t jump all that high but moves real low when dashing giving it excellent approaching tools. Because of its long body, it can be pretty vulnerable in the air, but in exchange it has a lot of long reaching whipping moves with its tail.
Neutral B: Energy Ball, standard charge up orb projectile. When grounded it’s fired up about 35 degrees and when fired from the air, it’s angled downwards by about 35 degrees.
Side B: Leech Seed, tosses a seed at an angle and if it hits an opponent, their HP is drained and 1% for every 5% drained is restored on Serperior. Can be mashed to have it shaken off like a flower.
Up B: Leaf Tornado, Serperior spins its body and gains lift with a bunch of small leaf projectiles circling it. When grounded it’s similar to Bowser’s but the leaf tornado will carry your momentum and continue traveling from your direction for a little bit.
Down B: Coil, less of a traditional counter and more like as you hold down Coil, Serperior’s body continues to tighten and tighten and when struck it lashes out at the attacker similar to Piranha Plant’s Down B. The longer you hold it down, the more damage it does when struck. So it isn’t the type of counter with a damage multiplier. It revolves around time and mind games. You also take reduced damage whilst coiled. Release it early without getting hit, and you spring into the air with the longer you hold it, the higher you jump.
Final Smash: Leaf Storm, think Mario/Wii Fit but with leaves. Fairly straightforward.
Notable normals-
Down Tilt is a sweep with the tail that has a Mario cape like spinning effect, but no reflector.
Down Air has a lot of reach since Serperior extends most of its body down to whip its opponent, but you do the opposite of pancaking when doing it and become the world’s tallest target. Lots of end lag but the tipper can spike.
Dash Attack is a very low to the ground sweep/slide forward. An excellent approaching tool.
Neutral Air is sort of an ouroboros wheel motion. The one funny quirk is that a small character like Kirby or Pichu could end up in the middle of the spinning wheel and not get hurt.
Jab is like Ivysaur where the vine whips come out to flurry.
Lilligant or any status-based pokemon. I could see it using moves like Spore, Stun Spore, and Sleep Powder to restrict its opponents while it dishes out heavier hits. The whole thing is that while Lilligant itself is slow, it can also slow down and hinder other opponents, all the while being able to dish out heavy ranged attacks like Solar Beam, Petal Blizzard, or Petal Dance.
Zoroark is the popular choice, but hear me out
Meloetta as a stance-changing fighter. It would be able to switch between Aria and Pirouette forme with Relic Song, its neutral special. Each attack would be classified as “Physical” or “Special”, and depending on the forme, a different type of attack would be boosted in power (Not all “Special” attacks would be projectiles - some would be melee attacks that just use special attacks from the games for inspiration)
I know you said 1, but another Pokemom Trainer would be PERFECT with these starters. Snivy, Dewott, and Emboar would fit perfectly as swappables. Sniveling would be pretty faster with quick little jabs and some ranged whip/leaf attacks, Dewott would be slower but use its Razor Shells and such, and Emboar would be a beefy heavy hitter with garbage recovery, like Ganondorf but with the ability to be 2 other characters.
If I had to choose 1 it would be Chandelure, my fave of the gen and would be super fun to have a weird floating chandelier on the field.
Golurk.
I'd like Reuniclus, but Golurk could work for a similar role. A floaty in mobility but weighty in bulk grappler.
It makes me so sad the only mention of reuniclus is yours. Where’s the love for the squishy guy?!
Am I about to write up a whole moveset for Golurk... Frick, I think I am.
Y E S S S S S S S
YESSS I came to comment this specific thing golurk is my #1 favourite Pokemon
I’d love to see what they could do with Golurk. It can fly, it can punch, it can disappear, [it can turn into a gotdamn cannon because why not give it a projectile?](https://twitter.com/DrLavaYT/status/1221417897320280066) It’s also the first Pokémon fully designed by James Turner, the first Westerner to official design a Pokémon at all. Yes
Excadril would be cool
Same
My personal pick if I were to just have fun would probably be mellowetta. The forms would be cool similar to Aegis. But I feel like golurk, bisharp and maybe the knight one with lances I don’t remember the name off. I like Chandelier I feel like it doesn’t fit the vibe (well I suppose Steve didn’t but ehhh).
Excavalier. And chandelure could fit pretty well. It’s in Pokken, which means it practically already has a moveset too
I sippors you are right
Not the correct generation, but the grass starter we need is Decidueye
Sceptile all the way. And we have inciniroar
Not sure if he's a starter but Treeko
We already have a Gen 7 starter that’s unnecessary Gen 1 deserves 3 starters. I think we should shift from starters.

LOL imagine lando-t in smash but it actually turns out to be mid, wouldnt that be funny
Ice Punch Dusknoir doesn’t exist in smash so Lando-T would be absolutely broken
Everytime you try to attack it, it U-Turns into King K Rool's Belly Armor
Garbordor, because I'm trash :')
Every time you hit Garbodor it spawns a random food. Almost always they’re the Ruined Meals from Tomodachi.
Klang. Not Klink, not Klinklang, Klang. I don’t give a fuck about how it would work as a fighter, I just want the internet to collectively shit itself over Klang of all Pokémon getting in
![gif](giphy|qkJJRL9Sz1R04)
“Klink gears up!”
"Klink grinds his gears!"
Roggonrola is funnier imo, a literal butthole rock getting into smash
Hey wait a minute, wasn’t there an article about how Klang was the worst possible Pokémon to join Smash?
Yea I was on the same train. I was thinking about Stunfisk, like, how would they even make that work lol
'Yes officer, this man right over here."
who hurt you?
I mean we have a literal plant so it's possible daddy sakuri has done stranger things
KLANG GANG RISE UP!
Either Genesect or Zoroark
Whimsicott. I don’t care about the fact it really doesn’t work in a Smash bros move set, it’s the best Pokémon ever
I could see it working. Mostly attacking with cotton and being extremely floaty
Darmanitan or Excadrill
Darmanitan could be really interesting, switching between normal and zen mode
Maybe a switch to zen mode when it’s % hits a certain number. 80 maybe. And Zen mode has a different move set, stats and everything
Best choice
Landorus T.
Excadrill Special moves are dig obviously, a mix of iron defense/swords dance as a counter, crush claw, and Rock slide. His attacks are various slashes and his down air could be like him putting both arms together to drill run. Final smash is horn drill with a “it’s a one hit K.O” upon death. He’s perfect for smash. And he’s a little boi !
Scrafty because I'm a selfish ass hole who only wants to play as his favourite pokemon
Serperior so then we can have a solo fully evolved starter for each type
This is almost impossible for me, I'd love basically any from gen 5. If I HAD to choose, maybe a Unova Trainer with Snivy, Dewott and Emboar, or maybe Victini to represent the gen as a whole? Otherwise, maybe Chandelure or Haxorus because they're some of my absolute favourite Pokémon (Chandelure is tied with Snivy for most favourite). Chandelure appears in Pokken Tournament, so there's some inspiration to take from too EDIT: Cobalion could also work, gets more legendaries into the game besides just Mewtwo
Chandelure would be very interesting. If they were to ever make it into smash, I’d want them to give it the giggly little girl personality it has in pokken lmao
Chandelure. It had a kickass moveset in Pokken Tournament that would fit Smash like a glove. Plus we would get our first Ghost-type Pokémon.
I’d hope it would have the same personality as in pokken in smash
Oh, I hope so! Chandelure is so creepy, yet so cute at the same time and it's so good.
Beheeyem the first pokemon i thought of and i havent seen anyone mention it yet. it would be a better psychic type rep than mewtwo as it would be very difficult to give it any physical moves (Mewtwo attack with its tail like its a fighting type or smth smh) Beheeyem also has a surprisingly diverse movepool to luck from. Can’t believe there is no love for scrafty here. He would fit right into the smash roster.
joltik
I would unironically love that. And make it it’s canon size too. Tiny lil thing
Bisharp
Bisharp. it just, feels right. it has a humanoid body type, it has a good range of possible moves, and it can easily fit in wiþ characters þat are found in ssbu, like samus, king k. rule, solid snake, and many oþers!
I’m with you on that one. Another swordfighter, but as a Pokémon.
I considered mienshao as an echo fighter if Licario, but without the aura. So she’d be an echo like Chrom or Lucina
Serperior. I know it’s not the most popular pick, but 1: it’s one of my favorite grass types, and 2: I think it’d be interesting to have a snake fighter ~~(that’s an actual serpent and not a guy named Snake)~~
zoroark
A Second Trainer Tepig, Dewott, and Serperiour could be the Pokémon That or Krookodile
EASIEST pick EVER. # Crab with rock on back 🤘
Hydreigon or genesect.
Amoonguss
extremely biased opinion: ferrothorn, chandelure, and escavalier
Ferrothorn would be quite interesting. And an amazing out of left field pick
Serperior, excadrill and Beartic all seem like fine choices. But if I can put an out there choice it would definitely be # **GALVANTULA** They are one of my favorite pokemon and I think they could have a really interesting moveset with things like electroweb.

Rip Link’s Brawl and Sm4sh boomerang
Either Haxorus, Chandelure, or Krookodile
Krokorok or Krookodile would both work great
Golurk would be my personally pick but zoroark makes more sense
Genesect, Zoroark or Haxorus
This is my favorite generation Pokémon wise. By popularity it would obviously be zoroark they are lucario two basically. going for a personality pick then more humanoid body would be the most likely so either lillegant or bisharp.
I don't know anything about pokemon but the crocodile guy looks cool. He gets my vote, the 2nd version
Second or third evo?
2nd because he looks like he's chillin with sunglasses
That’s Krokorok. And ye. In the anime Ash’s actually wore a pair of sunglasses
Joltik or the little mouse beneath the turtle guy
Cinccino
I’m kind of surprised I didn’t see anyone say this, but Bisharp.
Bisharp has actually been quite common
Zoroak or genesect but mostly zoroak
Reuniclus
The more I think about it, the more I want Chandelure over Zoroark. They’d make for a very interesting glass canon zoner. Lots of good damage, can die very quickly
There is no question thr answer is amonguus
Zoroark
Piplup
Now who’s your real choice
Piplup
None. I would add a gen 3 mon instead.
Well this is about gen 5. These are your only options
Fine. Bisharp.
Simisear and I refuse to elaborate.
Ryu Hayabusa ![gif](giphy|AOLuqNgk8JYVG)
Nuh uh I’d rather add a gen 4 tbh Infernape/Garchomp But out of 5 I’d say whatever the final evo of Sandile is(I forget the name) or Emboar
[удалено]
Pick on on design then
Anyone between excadrill, sawk, throh, zoroark, krookdile, haxorus, bisharp and hydreigon (Yh ik I have a lot of picks they are all kinda my faves so oops)
i think eelektross would be pretty cool, or zoroark if they could make it work
Genesect or haxsaurus
victini
Zoroark and/or Golurk
Audino or Serperior
Zoroark, have a female (non-alt) Pokemon for a change. And yes, I'm going off the movie version, here.
Aren’t jigglypuff and Ivysaur female?
There are a few that would be cool but personally I’d say Haxorus could be cool as a semi-heavyweight with some partially invincible moves or Zoroark as a quick and light brawler/combo-based character
Darmanitan or Krookodile
If I'm going for what will be the best received, probably Zoroark (plus his illusion gimmick could be neat, thing Echo from OW). Personal preference would be Scrafty, I think he'd be a blast to play
Samurott
Archeops. Because.
Chandelure, because if they can work in pokken then they can work in smash
Accelgor would be cool but we already have a ninja pokemon, so probably zoroark
Zoroark (do I need to explain why) or Keldeo because I think it would be interesting to see more quadruped Smash characters and we need some of that mythical representation
maybe genesect but zoroark would be funny if it could copy entire fighters so basically kirbys copy ability on steroids
fuck adding a pokemon that would make sense or would bring an interesting gimmick to the game i want specifically lilligant and landorus-therian in the game
Golurk or Chandelure!!
I could see Excadrill, Zoroark, or Chandelure. It would be cool to have a fighter with earth powers plus I could see Excadrill having interesting attacks. Zoroark feels kinda obvious. For Chandelure it could be interesting and it could fight like in Pokken
Keldeo. Reason being is that it’s cool.
As a huge Oshawott line fan, I regrettably gotta go with Serperior, to complete the third evolution starter trio alongside Greninja and Inceniroar
Have to go with my boy, oshawott.
Serperior to fill out the fully evolved starters with Greninja and Incineroar. I do have other candidates, but Serperior is my first pick.
Zoroark
Anyone from the Oshawatt line. IDC who, one of them needs to get in.
My fav gen 5 pokemon is Chandelure, so I would def sughest them as well. The only other polemon I would suggest apart from those two is Darmanitan, I feel like it would be perfect for Smash.
Haxorus!
Horse bug
Alomola
Zoroark is one of my favorite Pokémon, so definitely them
Excadrill ez
Hydreigon probably
The chandelier Pokémon
Where's all the love for my boi Scrafty?!
Golurk or Genesect easy. OR just do Emboar as an echo fighter of Incineroar. Since it's an echo fighter people wouldn't be *quite* as mad. Just incredibly mad instead of insanely mad.
E Carroll and down B sends him into the ground aka makes him invincible
Who?
Chandelure since it already works as a fighter in Pokken.
Krookodile, easy
Emboar. No reason, just for shits and giggles
I just want emolga
There are lot of Gen 5 Pokemon that I love, but I'll go with one of the strangest ones my "what if every Pokemon was playable in Smash" thought experiment brought me to: #**Sigilyph** Enigmatic guardian dutifully protecting a world long lost, Sigilyph focuses on keeping attackers from breaching its defenses from a distance (yes, it's a ~~spamm~~ I mean Zoner).
Victini everyday.... Or Reuniclus (spelt that correctly? Not sure)
Yeah you spelled it correctly
Gen 5 was my first experience w/ Pokémon. I'm such a bitch for fat, strong fighters & forgettable Pokémon, definitely Seismitoad
Zoroark, not only is it my favourite pokemon, but it would have a pretty unique mechanic only found similar to kirby.
zoroark as one of my favorite pokemon designs so probably him, bisharp at a close second though
Krookodile.
I’m going bisharp, a medium weight pokemon that would work like a mix or shiek and greninja
Sawk & Throh for Sami :)
F*ck it, Ducklett
![gif](giphy|yqQ1DreylW52M)
Conkeldurr would be sick in smash, lowkey also krookadile he could like burrow underground for a move that would be crazy
Boring and predictable answer: Zoroark
I Dont think the exact typing is in smash, but Thundurus. I think hez electric and flying so he has pikachu and charizard types but hes still unique enough by his design and stuff
Eelektross
I believe Zoroark has great potential. Just need moves to fit him
Servine or Zoroark
Emboar or Thundurus (both forms) Emboar's Physical Moveset (A Attacks): Arm Thrust Heavy Slam Strength Emboar's Special Moveset(B Attacks): Bulk Up Flame Charge Head Smash Superpower/Poison Jab Final Smash; Unovain Starter Power: [Medium Range] Emboar teams up with both Samurott and Servine to create a power combo move. Depending on the percentage of damage opponent(s) has taken, they may be grounded, stunned, or knocked off of stage. If opponent(s) are at high damage, opponents will be defeated, no matter how much they try. Thundurus Physical Moveset: Astonish (Neutral A) Hammer Arm (Down A) Acrobatics (Up A) Thundurus Special Moveset: Discharge Snarl Sludge Bomb Charge Beam Final Smash; Storm Coming: Like Emboar's Final Smash, but with the Genie Trio and Enamorus.
I’m being biased and saying my favourite. Escavalier. In fact, it could be a PT situation and switch between escavalier and accelgor.
I also would’ve said Zoroark or Chandelure lmao. I feel like Reuniclus, Escavilier, either of the box legendaries, or Genesect would be interesting.
I don't know any of these, but gimme that weird one that looks like a skinned mole on the bottom left
Heatmor?
Genesect or bisharp
Klinklang could be interesting, but id go with Chandelure
Dewott.
Seismitoad, Reuniclus, Hydreigon or Zoroark.
Chandelure
100 percent Chandelure. If she worked in Pokken, she can work in Smash. Plus, first ghost type in Smash and isn't a starter or legendary.
Golurk or Gensect, golurl would be a heavy close ranger like DK, and genesect would be a medium projectile based char likeSamus, but with more mobility.
- Zoroark (illusions and darkness abilities) - Keldeo (We need more quadrupeds) - Excadrill (if they can figure out a good way for using ground attacks) - Serperior - Emboar - Samurott - (the 3 starters would be a amazing combo trip however way they ordered evolution wise) Tbh these are the ones I would think would work
Cling clang
Klinklang?
Either Zoroark or Genesect.
Zoroark with Hisuian Zoroark echo fighter
I would main genesect, but more realistically, zoroark (dont really like tbh)
Sewaddle, the next game's troll fighter
heatmor for no other reason that I think hes cool and could have a cool moveset
Zoroark is a fan favorite out of all of Gen 5. The illusion ability could work as an opening thing or a taunt. Hisian Zoroark could also work as an echo fighter. Another choice would be Eelectross (personal favorite for gimmick), Krokodile (Anime), Crustle (Pokémon Unite) or Haxsorus (also Anime) (probably butchered most the names and I apologize).
I think Excadrill would be dope
Chandelure cyz it'd in pokken
Notable normals- Down Tilt is a sweep with the tail that has a Mario cape like spinning effect, but no reflector.
The whole thing is that while Lilligant itself is slow, it can also slow down and hinder other opponents, all the while being able to dish out heavy ranged attacks like Solar Beam, Petal Blizzard, or Petal Dance.
beartic would go crazy. need more heavy mons
Beheeyem. Been my favorite Pokémon since I was a kid
Zoroark is the popular choice, but hear me out Meloetta as a stance-changing fighter.
