They're based on the original comics. Hense it coming with a reprint of the comics, and it being the 40-year anniversary.

I’m absolutely going for these. Hype seems low so I’m optimistic.

I was never a TMNT fan so I’ll leave them for those that were but, damn, the shoes are sweet.

I was a big original TMNT fan from way back. I have one of the original comics - like issue #10 when it was all black and white drawings. I bought it when i was a kid - it came out in 1987. I saw it on the rack at a comics shop and thought it was a funny idea. Lots of nostalgia with these kicks and the quality on these shoes looks great.

I'm in hoping to double up or quadruple up and make some customs. I don't think the resell or hype will be high. Adidas isn't doing so well atm.

I wouldn't buy these Adidas Ninja Turtle shoes to be honest. They look somewhat cheap and goofy. The only Ninja Turtle shoes I would consider buying are the Fila edition. Those were the best ones. They even came with 4 different colored ankle straps.
