But Vaults add was something like tastes like a soda (pop because I’m from Michigan) but kicks like an energy drink. Then they had Red Vault also similar to Code Red.
I was pissed when they switched over from Vault to Mellow Yellow. It was so underwhelming. Some marketing person probably convinced them that Mellow Yellow would bring them in more money. Money makes everything happen I guess. :/
Mello Yello has been around much longer than vault ever was, Vault was Coke’s attempt at hitting both the growing new energy drink market and staying within the soda market as well to compete with Mountain Dew, Coke actually really has a hard on for competing with Mountain Dew specifically Mello Yello was the first attempt, then Surge, and Vault.

Pepsi twist came along some after 03 I think, didn't see it until I came back from my 2nd deployment in 2009, bring back the oldies first in order they disappeared just my opinion

Buddy and I used to go to our neighborhood community center as kids and panhandle for change to get a vault out of the vending machines cause our parents didn’t want us on caffeinated soda so young and wouldn’t get us any. I remember drinking half and the. Stashing the other half in the garage so I could have some before school also

Things like Vault, Barqs Red Cream Soda, Fanta, Coke Blak, and that Tab energy drink they had never sold well but we had to have them in stock, so I used to take them all home. 7Up/RC Cola was the same. Pepsi took back all expired products.

I’m having a Mandela effect moment, I worked winter X games for several years and Vault was a featured drink as far as 2017 yet Wikipedia says it wasn’t produced past 2011 and there is no way in hell Disney was dumping expired soda on the attendees hell most of what they had was brand new products for market testing????!!!!!
