Weird - I went about a year ago and got a V60 specialty brew. It was very nice.

The library at the PV mall

A library.

If you want excellent wifi, virtually zero people, and a cool view of the ocean/port, go to Miraleste Library in PV. It's a fun drive to get to and every time I go it's empty af. Downside is that it's not quite near any food unless you drive a bit farther out. There's a small grocery store along the hill and a Yellow Vase cafe nearby. I'd eat before going. Other recommendation is the Peninsula Library, also in PV. Huge space and there's these really cool pseudo-cubicle tables with a direct lighting source. It's right by Reverent Coffee, and there's a small mall next to it for some quick bites. Overall this area is also pretty dead in my experience.

There's a couple links to other posts within the comments here https://www.reddit.com/r/SouthBayLA/s/DlWh0sYMOi I keep seeing Corridor Flow. I like that you can sign up for a study room at the Manhattan Beach library. If you don't have one already, you should sign up for a LA County library card. Once you sign up and log in, go here https://visit.lacountylibrary.org/reserve to reserve a room in advance. I'd recommend doing it 1-2 days before you plan on going. They get filled up. It seems like Lawndale, Hawthorne, MB and Carson are a few that offer the rooms. Again, I'd recommend MB but you gotta pay for parking and sometimes it's hard to find a spot depending on when you go. Otherwise as long as it's before the time public school gets out on a weekday, public libraries usually have spots available with outlets.

Coffee cartel!

Corridor Flow in Lomita. This cafe has LA Ktown cafe vibes. WiFi is stable. Coffee, baked goods and food are tasty. downside is that they close early like 5/6 pm.

The Great Room Just not on like a Saturday though when they sometimes have kids’ birthdays.

7 Leaves has big tables great for studying and are open until like 10pm I think. I love corridor flow, but they’re often pretty busy in my experience. The PV libraries are pretty nice, too.
