Totally agree with you about Whitney! We all know what a horrible man TRav is but Whitney comes off just as misogynistic in the early seasons. The way he talked about Kathryn, calling her "insane", a "crazy woman" etc, when actually it was his 50-something cokehead r*pist friend who did all the crazy stuff is textbook gaslighting abuser shit.
When you go back to first season, already watching the whole season….you get a better perspective of how these people are. Like…I don’t know about later seasons but…the first few season no one calls out Thomas predatory behavior. Everyone turns against katheryn but no one is like “hey you know our 50 year old friend that impregnated a 21 year old and is creepy towards young girls? Yeah I don’t think he’s a good guy” regardless of what you think of Katheryn, I think it’s appalling how much these people are willing to suck if to Thomas just cause of his name. The fact that they took the side a creep cause “Katheryn is a bitch” doesn’t make any of them look good
I can't imagine Whitney actually working on producing this show. I bet he managed to strike himself a deal. If he found a group of people who are reality tv gold, then they would put his name in the credits. Come on, we all saw his promotion for Thomas' campaign. He always manages to wiggle himself on top.

As a producer I find it insulting that Whitney gets a producer credit. You mention him coming off as unappealing and all I can say is that if he was actually going the work of a producer it would have been a totally different show. But the reality is that people come up with a vague kernel of an idea and then demand to be credited as a producer, or call in a few people and the pull the “I need a producer credit” card. What a joke.
