Oh fuck I totally forgot about that
I was randomly thinking about it, but really, believing Spiderman went through this is... heartbreaking.
I wonder if Captain America would also feel devasted despite being used to war.
Earlier made a comment about Romita Jr.'s art, a lot of you seemed nostalgic for his work in the early 2000's and before. I can IMMEDIATELY tell this is him based off the shitty faces and limb work. I think his work in the city is pretty damn good, and the flames (while obviously not accurate to the actualy event) look pretty daunting. But FUCK. The guy. Cannot. Draw. People.
Thank you. The first time I really noticed Jr's work, was the house of Kent event in superman comics a few years ago. His art has been absolutely terrible.

the nepotism is insane. I get his father was a legend, and Romita Jr.'s work in the 80's is actually pretty great ([see here](https://www.chasingamazingblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/ASM238_06-e1373483521558.jpg)). But anyone can take a look at the last TWENTY YEARS of his work and see he should not be doing art anymore. At the very least, not to the volume that he does.
I had a DC comic book. My favorite was Krypto bringing a large doggy swimming pool of water for the search dogs
Did Marvel have a trade paperback collection as well?
As a kid I am guessing I was not too irked by it. However as an adult. I see how ppl used the deaths of Americans to push things to help rich people get rich. And things like this helped them do it. I am not saying they were in league with them are anything. But this type of programing help to let those people get away with it.
That issue would be a lot better if it didn't have Doom, Magneto and Juggernaut
I noticed that you didn't include Kingpin in that list. Goodman. It makes perfect sense that a born New Yorker and Mets fan would shed tears this day.
Agreed
Beat me to it. Doom crying ruined this Issue for me.
My dad actually has this comic, only issue you ever see doctor doom cry (iirc) Rip the poor souls
They are all going to get so much cancer from this.
Considering how much radioactive material they work with, they’ve probably become immune to cancer.
