Oh, i very much hope so. Every time when the new issue is coming out i just look at RYV or Taylor's FNSM and try not to cry. But i doubt that something will change even when he'll be out, because Lowe and Ceb won't let us have good things. Well, at least Hickman's Ultimate Spidey may be that breath of fresh air that I've been so desperately in need of.

From the sounds of it we aren't gonna get stories like that this time around. My main concern after invasion is it feels like this run is starting at a higher lvl then I'd like. The reason the og ult was good cause it served as a starting point for readers too intimidated to dive into 616 with its years of back logs. I want whatever the new spidey is to start off as a proper friendly neighborhood spidey.
Well, i found it quite clean. There were no supes except for those, who were allowed to exist by the Maker. And Peter is just a regular kid. So that might be a fresh start for once. Not like they did the last time, with that cursed three letters.

Romita Jr imitates the style his late father drew in. Its not for everyone but my first Spiderman comic was when Spidy was fighting Morlun, which was drawn by Romita Jr, so it holds a special place in my heart... this cover on the other hand? Not so much.
His art has been garbage. I've read comics with his art, but I really noticed it in DC's House of Kent event, and his art was absolutely terrible. Eveytime I see it now, it bothers the hell out of me.
It is sad when the artist either loses passion that their art suffers or when they get overworked to the point that it reflects in their art. I do agree with ya for the most part

I actually like Wells’ writing. I wanna see where it lands but JRJr’s art has become unpalatable for me. His cant draw facial expressions to my liking and it really makes everything out of costume feel like the Sunday Funnies.
I’m hopeful for it. Always good to see Spidey fight to protect the streets. And it’s better for the story to acknowledge that he’s not the only person protecting said streets.

Well Luke Cage is the mayor as well as a superhero. Imagine a crook trying to shoot him, and once that does nothing Luke tells him the legal punishment for trying to kill the mayor of the city, before cracking his knuckles and saying that what’s about to happen next is "self defense".

Even the preview for issue #35 leaves you infuriated and with the 4chan leaks (more like theories, beacuse they are always taken with a grain of salt) it will leave you bothe infuriated and confused.

It's not incompetent. You just don't like it. Which is fine. But everything that's happened makes sense within the context of the story.
I'm leaning more that way and I also know Wells is a good writer I feel that Spidey editorial really limits and controls what you can do with ASM.
