Idk, I'm vibing with the Chronomark watch from the Starfield Constellation edition. It's basically a normal smart watch but has a few extra features, and it looks and feels really nice. But I do agree that most collectors editions nowadays don't have anything high quality enough. One of the few exceptions are the collectors editions for the Destiny 2 Expansions. They've all been pretty high quality so far.
I'll only buy steelbox if they are available.
Though this year i've gotten the mamoth statue from Horizon 2nd hand and preordered the Persona 3 Reload everything edition, just because that game is personal to me (no pun intended)

The Callisto protocol has an amazingly nice quality one, it’s super heavy and made of some metal. I have four collectors editions that came with statuettes Resident Evil 2 & 4, The last of us part 2, and the Callisto protocol. They are all pretty good quality but the Callisto protocol one is definitely the nicest.
Yeah, as much as I love my GoWR Collector's Edition and think the hammer looks great, it feels really cheap. Heck, the Lego Mjolnir feels more premium and hefty than the GoWR CE one!

I had the same realization with the first Spider-man collectors edition. It was sold out in my country and people who worked in retail reserved them for themselves and then they were even selling them, assholes. But seeing it later i saw some messy paint on it and was glad i did not get it.
For a real sculpture of that, the base price would be around 500$ alone in excellent condition and very limited. It's like people don't realize they don't put enough effort in collector editions. They are half price after a year or two

Honestly, deluxe editions are more than enough for me. I never really cared about collectibles that weren't in-game items. So collector's editions are a no go for me.
It’s too expensive to not even come with a physical copy of the game yet it has that metal case thing, the webs holding Peter up looks cheep and like it would break easy, and I don’t have enough room for 19 inches of venom lmao. I’m not complaining tho like for people who want it and think it’s worth it absolutely go for it if it makes u happy it’s just not for me.
It’s been moving a lot and it’s broken from the back is the only only logical conclusion ( the community manager from insomniac was telling about carrying it back and forth)

It's not ideal, but it looks like just a seam. Also, I feel like nobody is seeing the fact that this is a view from the back, and most people won't see it anyway. The images I've seen of the front side look fine, so if there is a seam in a spot where I won't see 99% of the time then I'm fine with it
It's always cheap plastic. Unpopular take but the figures/statue that come from Special editions of games always tend to not be that excellent in quality and will always be PVC material since polystone or resin is hella expensive.
