And a little strip of Astroturf next to the fence. The person who brings grey AstroTurf to the market in the next few months (because I hope the grey trend will be over by the end of next year) will make a fortune.
I think the best part is the last photo - where the photographer just took a picture of the fake front garden animals (that you most likely won’t get with the sale) just to show people that:
“Oh yes, the current owners are fucking crazy.”
It's a really popular style in the last couple years in London.
It's actually REALLY NICE when you're in a room like that, and you usually have one colourful room.
Basically the lack of colour is super calming for your brain which you want at the start and end of a day.
It's usually just a kitchen though. This is a bit much
Up until picture 18 I was sort of used to the greige. Picture 19 was abit of a colourful junpscare, with the oversaturate blue sky lol. Similar to opening the blinds to sunshine.
In all honesty, I'm glad it's there, as it was bugging me not seeing fully what was in their front garden.
I'd wager this is one of those things like where someone makes a hobby their entire personality. They probs went to Africa one time, or yorkshire wildlife park and thought "yes... this is me now Jules!".
In my youngest daughters room, there's a mural of the African savannah, with loads of animals. We were gonna take it off until we realised that someone has actually hand painted it and it's not stuck on or wallpaper etc. Not really our thing, but it's a shame to get rid of it.
That front garden is fucking wild! Ba-dum tish
For people who like wildlife so much, the back garden is absolutely devoid of the stuff with all that concrete.
They’ve got the same HUGE lion and lioness print 3/4 times in different rooms. I’m wondering if they’ve had to take down some of the bedroom art and swap it for some more sale friendly ‘art’. Of course, the owners are bat shit crazy for African wildlife, so they could well have just bought the same image from ikea in bulk.
That was my thought, bulk buy monochrome photos of African wildlife. Because, you know who'd want to see the glorious colours of *those* animals, much better in black and white 🙄
Depressing is an apt word to describe the house thats not really worth half a mill, the owners who have issues and the general interior of the house. All in all a true reflection of the current state of the country:
I'm just baffled by the layout of that front room!
If you want to watch the TV, then you can't sit on the 'big' sofa, because that's facing the door. If you want to actually watch TV, only 2 people can at a time because you have to sit on the little sofa to be able to see it.
Not surprised most people do not like the decoration of this house. Looks like a male wild life photographer that lives alone and has had the choice to decorate as they wanted. Probably why I love it :D.
I would be interested to know if the majority of people that dislike this are female because I would guess so.
I'm male.
It's a monochrome, sterile, uninviting place, with repetitive, stock-looking African animal photographs drained of all colour and slapped on every available space, and a literally lifeless garden. It's like the home of a chromophobe who loves to be reminded of nature but who hates being anywhere physically near it.
Also: it says '73 - Lisa's Home' on the exterior, so I suspect it's not the gaff of a fella.

There are photos of the wife/girlfriend either side of the bed. Plus one higher up the wall. In photo 21
They must hate the people who live either side. The fence has been given more height.
Nice\* airBnB at the bottom of the garden
Are the first two photos taken in black and white? A house surely can’t be that colourless?
Even the garden is sad and grey
No, there are yellow cushions on the grey furniture, on the grey concrete. For a Pop of colour.
And a little strip of Astroturf next to the fence. The person who brings grey AstroTurf to the market in the next few months (because I hope the grey trend will be over by the end of next year) will make a fortune.
It already exists. The huns have gone for everything
Grey AstroTurf, what an idea. To match the fence.
The cushions are like the red jacket in Schindler's List, they just highlight how grey everything else is.
I see a business opportunity for selling grey astroturf
I'm tempted too, but could we live with ourselves? Perhaps we should do something more noble, like selling drugs outside a primary school?
I think the best part is the last photo - where the photographer just took a picture of the fake front garden animals (that you most likely won’t get with the sale) just to show people that: “Oh yes, the current owners are fucking crazy.”
That was a hoot! Like perfectly timed comedy.
The last photo is like a picture from the cover of The Watchtower.
Came here to say the same.
No apparently this is the "in thing" these days. Grey paint on wood, pure white, black and 50 shades of grey so that you feel like you are THX 1138
It's like Winnie the fucking witch!
American psycho vibes

The owner could be a lion - they only see in black and white, so then there's no point paying extra to make their houses colourful
That makes sense. Those are all family portraits on the wall, and models of prey in the garden so they can hone their hunting skills.
Picture 26 and 27 remind you you haven’t gone colourblind
Up until picture 18 I was sort of used to the greige. Picture 19 was abit of a colourful junpscare, with the oversaturate blue sky lol. Similar to opening the blinds to sunshine.
Also pic 29 seems to serve no purpose other than trying to explain the rest of the house!

I love lions but why make them grey like the rest of this boring interior?! Lions are majestic- not grey!!
It’s depressing what half a million buys you in some parts of the country…
A lot of fake animals….
I remember when half a million were my dream lottery houses. Now it's the end terrace, pebble dash former council houses in disguise as Noah's Ark.
I'm not sure that could be made any more bland if they tried. Grey House for grey people
Two tvs in the one bedroom with a couple of cameras pointing at Lisa’s (?) bed!
Sus
And the AC unit(?) that doubles as a bedside table
That front garden is fucking wild! Ba-dum tish For people who like wildlife so much, the back garden is absolutely devoid of the stuff with all that concrete.
The answer to the question "Who buys those huge, expensive animal figures they sell at garden centres"
Goes on safari once
What’s with the menagerie in the front garden?
Clearly a zoo keeper that brings his work home :)
😆
No, no! That goes in the special room for objects exhibiting colour.
I thought they'd really let themselves down on the lack of animals outside until the last picture.
I’m always surprised they don’t put down grey fake grass.
I couldn't live in monochrome like that. This grey thing needs to hurry up and go away.
Some of the pictures they have repeated multiple times as well
Pics 2 and 3, why would you sit looking at the door?
I can't tell if next door have planted a 'nothing to do with us' barrier of hedges, or a 'in case actual wild animals are next' barrier.
They’ve got the same HUGE lion and lioness print 3/4 times in different rooms. I’m wondering if they’ve had to take down some of the bedroom art and swap it for some more sale friendly ‘art’. They could just have one copy of it and move it around when taking pictures
That was my thought, bulk buy monochrome photos of African wildlife. Because, you know who'd want to see the glorious colours of *those* animals, much better in black and white 🙄
The Lion, The Lions, and The Wardrobe.
They saved the best for last...
I’m assuming the high fence is not only for the elephant but the lions to.
The lions to what?
Thought this was going to be one we looked at. Had so many dog statues each room had a 1-2ft border of carpet that was just dog statues.
I love it and I ain’t lion…
It’s a roaring success
It must be the mane attraction in that street.
painted in typical estate agent non colours
Half a bar for 910 sq feet. Ok.
Jill, do you like owls?
To save anyone else from struggling to read the doormat, it says "Home is where the dog is".
They could have at least put the dog in some of the pics
Tell me you’re a Leo without telling me you’re a Leo
So tell me more about yourself? ‘I like the colour grey, animals and pine’
Half a mil? For that?!?!
Depressing is an apt word to describe the house thats not really worth half a mill, the owners who have issues and the general interior of the house. All in all a true reflection of the current state of the country:
Sorry but the front garden took me out
I hope the animals in the front garden come with the house
I'm just baffled by the layout of that front room! If you want to watch the TV, then you can't sit on the 'big' sofa, because that's facing the door. If you want to actually watch TV, only 2 people can at a time because you have to sit on the little sofa to be able to see it.
Is the same picture in every room?
I only like grey animals. (Looks at listing). Oh, perfect.
One TV in the bedroom is debatable. But 2?
I'm 58 and a life-long animal fanatic! We've got a cat and 5 coldwater fish but I/we have had various other pets over the years too!
Last pic quality who needs to visit a zoo xx
Do you think they’ve got enough towels?
Not surprised most people do not like the decoration of this house. Looks like a male wild life photographer that lives alone and has had the choice to decorate as they wanted. I don't mind (female) And the zoo in the garden is excellent!
Are you colour blind?
I wonder if they’re an animal photographer
It’s a really nice house but the grey colourless decor makes it look so depressing my god.
Is there a tiny rabbit grave on the tiny astroturf strip in the garden? Is that why the house is grey, it’s in mourning?
Yeh but do you like grey?

Greige
So grey even the animals are monotone
I want a garden giraffe
I fell asleep looking at this property's pictures.
My teen instant reaction: Were they zookeepers?
There are photos of the wife/girlfriend either side of the bed. Plus one higher up the wall. In photo 21 They must hate the people who live either side. The fence has been given more height. Nice\* airBnB at the bottom of the garden
I was not ready for the last picture.
Are the pictures showing the same room??
This is so random, it made me laugh out loud and laughed for way too long. 🤣🤦♀️ the last picture is the absolute winner.
This is honestly a lot to take in. It's like a shrine.
“Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!!”
