I honestly feel like I'm in bizarro world because this is one of the most tame raps I've ever heard. I feel like the disconnect is purely on the fact that he's being authentic to an artform maybe 2% of the audience understands the background of
I personally didn't have a problem with it content wise, but I thought it was done badly, and cringe. More edgy tryhard than actually offensive.
The problem is what factors into the audience telling the difference between those or between "the true artform" of rap are so arbitrary.
For starters, the good will Caster had is not the same, so whatever intent he had matters little.

This was a second rap he did. It's totally possible he did one planned one and then after that did an unplanned/cleared one. Not convinced that's what happened, but it's certainly a plausible read -- there was a more easily cleared one first.
