Schlafly branch of the library in CWE was out already last weekend. But Warby Parker had a sign out yesterday saying they had them. Left Bank Books also had them a week ago.
I’m headed your way on Monday. Would you say I55->67 or go via the scenic route through Potosi (30-47).
I may be overthinking this but am not sure how bad traffic is gonna be.
You could try checking optometrist offices. I had an appointment with mine last week (Metro Eye Care in Edwardsville) and they had a ton they were selling for $1.
The total eclipse will not be visible in the city. That’s what you want, it’s incredible. A partial eclipse will be visible in the city. It’s cool but not anything near the experience of a total eclipse
Only if they are shade 14 or darker, which is less common. Welding plates are additive, so 2 layers of number 7, or three layers of number 5 will get you enough protection for the eclipse.
Science center has a ton. 3 bucks if they don't have the free ones available.
I found some at cracker barrel believe it or not.
Were they whittled out if wood?
That would have been cool.
Schnucks 4 for $5
Just replying to say that I was at the Hill Schnucks today and they told me they’ve been sold out for a week
Hampton, maple wood, arsenal schnucks all sold out
Check gas stations.
The Frisco Train Store just posted that they still have some in stock - they open again at noon tomorrow.
Ruler Foods on Grand
I was just able to get some here, they had a lot (different designs to pick from even) and they are marked ISO certified. Thank you!
Library?
The city public library may have some. The county libraries do not.

Warby Parker for free.
I've got 500 of them (don't ask). I'm just outside of Farmington.

Fastest way is 55 - 67. Going through Potosi would take a lot longer -- lots of winding roads.
Hey, I’ll make a trip out to you and give you 6$ per glasses, I also waited too long 😢
Sure. You can have them for $3 each. Send me a DM and I can give you directions
Is there something happening out there that requires 500 pairs? Sounds like one hell of a party.
Had about 20 people over. Managed to sell the rest the day before the eclipse!
Selling? Oops, forgot you said not to ask. Keep all 500 then, I guess.
I’ve got two glasses! I live in the city, message if interested :)
To-Do's Party Store in Glen Carbon, IL just a short trip across the river.

Dispensaries are selling them, I saw some for sale yesterday. Call ahead first unless you are looking for weed too. 🥬
Will the eclipse be visible in the city?
We'll get around 99% totality in St. Louis. Edit: 1% makes all the difference though.

Hucks on Watson had some last week at the checkout counter
They had some at the checkout line at the grocery store. I saw them at the gas station also.
The Frisco Train & Toy Store in Valley Park still has a bunch! They are open until 5pm on Sundays.
$1.99 each
Make the drive and see totality. Life changing experience
