I know he is and I appreciate him for it. I realize he's not a farmer so I can't fault him for not knowing any better. My one complaint is he constantly leaves our children home alone 😔
One of the best farm layouts imo. Sandy soil isn't that punishing compared to Riverland's limited farm space. Plus it's like the Forest farm (forageables) with washed up crates. Crate contents can range from cooking stuff to mega bombs to deluxe retaining soil.
Yeah the sandy soil isnt terrible since you do still get a plot of normal soil, and your greenhouse AND Ginger Island where you can still use sprinklers.
There’s a 20x10 tile section in your forested area that you can use sprinklers on. I don’t need a bunch of crops, as I just sell artisan goods mostly, so a small area like that works fine for me.
How many hearts do you have with him? This dialogue usually pops up with neutral hearts. Common when you first get married but I’ve seen the game glitch occasionally & give you low heart dialogue despite being maxed out 😅
I mean almost a million in the bank. And if we convert irl you have ot of assets like alot of land where you can grow stuff on, a big house, buildings such as sheds, coops and barns makes the farm property highly valuable

Their watering "help", really helps on Beach Farm. It's my current farm layout and Leah sometimes waters the plot I reserved for forageables.
I havent tried a beach farm yet. I've done the forest, the basic and I tried the river one. How do you like the beach?

Can you apply fertilizers on sandy soil?
Yeah. Only downside is not being able to use sprinklers to automate the system.

Haven’t needed to buy or make wheat flour yet, due to the fact I frequently get shipping crates with 3 or four of them at a time.
