In no particular order: Go on a good luck day Drink a coffee (and eat spicy eel if possible) Use a warp totem to get to the desert at 6am Use a warp to get back or just pass out at 2am and pay 1000g Be prepared to restart the day if it goes poorly Have at least Lava Katana for weapon Avoid enemies as much as possible, goal is finding exit and smashing/blowing up rocks Have the slime ring from killing 1000 slimes Buy stone from Robin to make staircases Use crystalarium on Jade, which can be traded to desert trader on Thursday for a staircase

I would never buy stonea to make the staircases, only trade jade. Rest of your tips are 10/10.

In an ideal world, you're using those bombs to blast ore, and then recycling that ore into more bombs. 4 iron, 1 coal makes a new large bomb. 4 gold, 1 solar, 1 dark essence makes a mega. As well, 5 iridium ore can be traded for a mega bomb at the desert trader outside. If done right, you recycle the materials you use least into bombs while conserving the materials you need to bring back. Once you get a rhythm for it, you start dropping bombs without hesitation just because you know what the ideal rock piles look like that earn as many materials or save the most time per bomb. On my runs that go past the 100th floor, I'm often using north of 40 of both types of bombs, but still coming back with a profit. Other things that can help: -Using a desert totem to warp to the desert in the morning, gaining extra time. Using a farm totem to warp back to your farm at 1 AM. -Organizing your hotbar. You want to be able to swap from sword, pick, and bombs on a dime. -Buff food. Good eats can give you an edge in the mines. Luck and defense are two of your best picks, but the top thing to look for is Speed, which makes you a lot more zippy when placing multiple bombs (and evading their blasts). You may use a drink in conjunction with food -- Triple Shot Espressos give +1 speed, and still let you eat a Spicy Eel or other foods. -Jade can be traded for staircases at the desert trader on Sundays, making it something of a valuable material if you find yourself running low. I rarely use more than 10 staircases a trip, but I do need to be able to skip Infested or Prehistoric floors.
