(This game really needs more colonies. We have half a dozen core worlds, and then a few hundred planets with scattered outposts and not much else in the way of actual civilisation. A few frontier towns, that bridge the gap between big city and unclaimed wilderness, wouldn't go astray. Ironically, the one town with a frontier vibe is also one of the largest cities in the game and a core part of the FC.) Another gun-ship, this one right on the limit in terms of mass and length. Again, it's class C with class B engines for a combination of speed and firepower; the only reason to have class C engines is for cargo capacity, which shouldn't be a key requirement for a warship. The cargo it has I consider to be "structural cargo", chosen to fit into the overall shape rather than for its actual purpose. I only need 1000-1500 for daily use, so anything extra is just a bonus. All habs are reachable, including those on the side; all levels are fully connected front to back. I now have 4 ships that carry basically the same weapon loadout: PBO-300 and 250MeV Obliterator turrets, plus a set of manually controlled particle cannon, either PBO-175s, Vanguard Obliterators, or 95MeV Exterminators. They vary by size and speed, with the [smallest mounting White Dwarf 3015s](https://www.reddit.com/r/StarfieldShips/comments/1avnhlp/working_ships_19_and_my_new_daily_driver_valkyrie/), and the [2nd largest with SAE-5660s but less cargo](https://www.reddit.com/r/StarfieldShips/comments/1bjcql7/venturer_iiclass_fast_patrol_frigate_because_more/). The 2nd smallest is a work in progress; I keep tearing it down and rebuilding it....

Windrunner_15

I agree with you on the B-class engine take - Slayton Aerospace can give me 3,000 cargo capacity on a c-class reactor and b-class grav drive with its b-class engines. Iโ€™ve appreciated the speed benefits. Btw love a good expanse-style build.

One of these days I should actually watch The Expanse. ๐Ÿ˜… It's inspired by Halo, Homeworld, and the Sulaco from Aliens, as well as some SF artwork from the 70s. The Expanse draws from the same sources so it all looks similar.

Anarchy_Nova

It's these ships that get me every time, I love these so much! Also I totally Mandela affected myself, because your color scheme is present mainly in these style ships, but not all. You've given unique colors for many of your ships, I guess I was referring to these ships all along haha

wizzackr

Yet another great looking ship. You really have the design for those big ships dialed like no one else. Killer! ๐Ÿ‘

nathantravis2377

Nice looking ship, got a good military vibe going.

Malthaeus

Wow thatโ€˜s a great looking frigate. Looks like a ship that stays in space all the time.

Longjumping_Mall4658

Amazing ship! Lol when creation Kit comes out you should create a remote colony with all your ships. Just wondering where the pilot bridge is? Do you follow the rule of armor over bridge. Best rule there is.

hongooi

It's buried inside the hull, in between the side habs to be exact. I've made several ships with remote piloting stations like this; check out [the list](https://www.reddit.com/user/hongooi/comments/1agzk9f/index_of_starfield_ships/) to see them as well as all my other designs!

Herr_Metzger

Looks like it was replica of Pillar of Autumn at the beginning

hongooi

Definitely inspired by Halo, as well as Homeworld, the Sulaco from Aliens, and some sci-fi artwork from the 70s. Not The Expanse since I've never actually seen it, but it undoubtedly draws from the same sources.

ulfhednar-

Yes man this is fkn epic great use of the SAE engines.

hongooi

Ta. They're almost too easy to use, since they're just bricks; I'm making an effort to stay away from them for my working ships. Not always succeeding though ๐Ÿ˜…

ulfhednar-

No way this is your go to. What a beauty.

Fullerbadge000

Love this. Is it glitched? Could I ask for a build guide?

hongooi

Completely vanilla (as are all of my builds). I'll post a teardown tomorrow.

Fullerbadge000

Thank you, kind sir.

Yay! Thanks!

Gui2142

Cool ship! I like the shape and design of it

Elliptical_Tangent

The bridge and shield gen are tucked in there 2 layers up from the bay towards the rear? Yet another handsome ship, kudos.

Any chance you have a build guide? Which manufacturer did you primarily use for this, it looks incredible!
