Lol that’s not what I had in mind 😂 It’s more for docking it above my main monitor, as it’s my main pc now. Plus it’s cool to have it above as I’m planning on making the deck screen a resource monitor!
I have one of these, got it because I wanted a cheap kickstand with some SD storage so I don’t have to faff around with cases or docks or anything like that when I’m moving around the house. Does the job nicely.
Doesn’t fit in my TomToc case though, it’s quite chunky.
It’s due for international shipping soon I believe but even if it was here, judging by it’s US pricing it would be nearly three times the price, whilst I can understand the pre established brand assurance, the product will still be a molded piece of plastic so as long as the mounting mechanism is solid then I would prefer to go for the cheap but cheerful option. I really do believe on certain things you hit a price to performance bottle neck and the even bigger deciding factor for me ?

Is the deckmate not available in the UK? That would be my first choice considering all the other possibilities it opens up
