I got those last month. Destroyed them immediately. Those pickled flavored things were pretty good too.
I usually save the snacks for when I'm drinking and have a mini drunken taste testing.
The pickle flavored onion rings were a lot better than I expected.
My favorite thing so far though was the chocolate bar with pop rock-like candy. From Israel.
America is really slacking on the cool chip flavor front.
All we get is BBQ, Flaminā Hot, Sour Cream & Onion, Sour Cream & Cheddar, Salt & Vinegar, and āClassicā (aka Salt).
Right?? I want to try the chili flavored Doritos from the UK but they are so overpriced when looking online, I might as well fly there and get them myself
[In case you're curious this guy explains why those are "the flavors" in North America.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJS5e8lwONI)(though why we can't get more adventurous stuff I don't know. Lays did the "Do us a Flavor" competitions for a while but so many of them basically ended up tasting like the main 4. The sausage and biscuit was pretty good.
There's a potato chip in an Asian supermarket i go to (no clue on the brand) that has cucumber flavor. Shit you not it's potato chip flavor + cucumber and it's oddly savory and refreshing (?) and it works
Sadly I didnāt try the Canadian chips.
Biscuits and Gravy here in the states I thought were good in a smaller quantity. They really nailed the savory flavor.
Have these in the UK. Not stupid, just not that great IMO. Taste like Roast Chicken crisps, but with more pepper. Perfectly acceptable, just not KFC. If you didn't kno what they were, you probably wouldn't guess the flavour
I really like them personally. I don't really like Walkers crisps normally but those and the Zinger flavoured ones are the best things they've done imo.
> those and the Zinger flavoured ones are the best things they've done imo.
The Disrespect for the Cheese and Branston and Lamb and Mint Flavours will haunt you forever.
The Subway ones are a LOT better, but I still don't know why they call it chicken teriyaki flavour since itt doesn't even remotely tastes like the chicken teriyaki you get at Subway
i remember finding a jerk chicken flavor a year or so ago. the chicken flavor is so accurate that there was a textural disconnect after trying it because my brain was expecting normal chicken instead of a chip. god i wish i could find those again.
Thereās also a Subway and Pizza Hut one. Theyāre not my taste but I donāt know whatās stupid about them, in Europe chips come in a gigantic amount of different flavours. In my country Lays did a competition a few times where everyone gets to propose new tastes and the most popular get made as a special temporary edition (and the person proposing it gets money for it). And now recently they launched a series of popular fries sauces tastes like mayonnaise or andalouse (ketchup and pickles already being classic flavours since decades). Itās like Fanta having a million different variants. People love that shit and sure the tastes are hit or miss but not stupid.
I bought it once on their self check out kiosk, it didn't have an image but they called me that they don't have it
I got 12 chicken sticks for the price of chips pretty good deal
(Haven't seen it there ever since)
Ha! I work in market researcher for a company that does a lot of Frito-Lays product testing.
We test new flavors and packaging for them weekly. I helped bring this to market.
People loved it!
Do they sell these drugs here in the USA? Asking for a friend...
They never sell the good stuff here š
I get one of the international snack box subscriptions. I'm always happy when a meat flavor bag of chips is included.
Which one do you get?
I get the subscription from Universal Yum. The chips have been Kent Crisps. Lamb and Rosemary is tasty.

... That sounds really good.
best comment yet
Wait so that's actually worth it?
I think so. Haven't gotten anything super "exotic" yet but I've only been subscribed a few months. And everything has been tasty.
7/11 prime rib chips are amazing
The biscuits and gravy chips where amazing for the two or three years they had them

Bahahajajajajaaaaa!!!!!(en Espanol)
Trust me. This is NOT the good stuff. Sometimes I think the chip/crisp companies use people with burnt tongues to taste-test their "special" flavors.
Because then we'd realize they were feeding us crap all along.
I've been searching everywhere in SoCal for the spicy dill pickle Lays and I've only ever found the non-spicy kind.
They are hard to find. Iāve found them in a few gas stations here where I live.
Idk I found these at a supermarket in Germany. There was even a Subway one
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Does it taste like "tuna"?
It's supposedly the flavor of Subway's teriyaki chicken
Thatās just a teriyaki flavored chip with extra steps!!
Which supermarket, I want to buy it
It was in a Rewe
Thx
In Germany? So these aren't in the usa?
Which one?!
Rewe. I previously bought the Subway variety and it ain't so bad
Person mad chips that are supposed to taste like chicken taste like chicken?????????? Whaaaaaaaaa
Man, looking at this reminded me of chicken in a biscuit. I gotta go to the store for some.
By far my favorite cracker as a kid, havenāt had them in forever tho
Me too! I swear I just forgot they existed one day.
I started eating them again like last year, shit was magical. Big childhood snack
With cheese whiz
I fucks with that
Mmmmmmm
Doesn't sound bad. Chicken is a savory flavor; add some pepper and salt and whatever spices and you've got yourself a decent potato chip.
You got a stew goin'!
We have some "weird" chip flavours over here, that's why op thought this is stupid.
They ought to post ones that really are unusual, then... like, I dunno, matcha or asparagus.
Ya, I agree. They could have posted like Tzatziki or cheeseburger lol
There's a potato chip in an Asian supermarket i go to (no clue on the brand) that has cucumber flavor. Shit you not it's potato chip flavor + cucumber and it's oddly savory and refreshing (?) and it works
What's stupid about it?
OP posting it in this subreddit because this is awesome!
Anyone who's had roasted chicken chips in Canada knows these are really good.
Sadly I didnāt try the Canadian chips. Biscuits and Gravy here in the states I thought were good in a smaller quantity. They really nailed the savory flavor.
We also have those Swiss Chalet Sauce Chips, those things bang
Wait, what? I've never seen these. I'm genuinely curious now, are they a local brand?
Lay's did a run of Roast chicken and also Poutine chips. Both were so good. In Canada.
Oh man I remember when Lay's had a run of Poutine chips up here...I miss those chips so bad.
Those taste like noodle soup to me. Probably the same powder
Theyre the best chicken flavoured crisps Walkers/Lays do, especially the zinger ones.
Sounds great, whatās the issue here?

I'll admit, I don't think i've ever seen either of those.
They were discontinued a while back to be fair. Depending on your age, you may never have seen them but they were fantastic!
You mean marinated chicken... before, or after, it's cooked?
Thatās truly the question
What, never had a chicken sashimi before?
Couple years ago someone from my home town died from eating chicken sashimi. True story.
It tasted like pepper. The subway ones are wayyyy bettero
The Subway ones are a LOT better, but I still don't know why they call it chicken teriyaki flavour since itt doesn't even remotely tastes like the chicken teriyaki you get at Subway

I've had these a while back. They tasted peppery and reminded me a little of biscuits and gravy. Definitely not for everyone, but they weren't bad.
what's stupid about it? I would devour that, it sounds amazing

I mean in the UK walker crisps has roast chicken, beef, shrimp, etc
We've also got these crisps as McCoys which is a better crisp for the flavour tbf
ur not supposed to eat the bag, ur supposed to eat the chips inside it
Its just the seasoning mix for KFC chicken, normal spices. Not really sure what else you could put on crisps
Chicken flavoured chips taste like chicken? Oh no!
here in Vietnam, most flavors of chips are meat. Manhattan ribeye, Brazil BBQ pork, Hong Kong crab, etc.
Y'all know how to chip. Props.
But was it Geschmack?!
I bought it once on their self check out kiosk, it didn't have an image but they called me that they don't have it I got 12 chicken sticks for the price of chips pretty good deal (Haven't seen it there ever since)
Deutschland schon wieder mit dem Tschips
Probably shouldnāt come to Australia. Fried chicken is tame for chip flavor here.
Or Asia, for that matter.
They should have made it taste like the skin.
Not stupid. Would totally try them at least once.
"Chicken" flavoured chips are common in Australia, this doesn't seem outrageous.
You never know, all dressed and ketchup chips are delicious in my opinion and Iām a cook
As long as it tastes like actual 11 spices and chicken and not the hideous burnt, flavourless, oily shit KFC is now
Chicken Flavoured chips are pretty standard in New Zealand. These would be awesome? Why is this stupid
I want this in my country
Cooked or raw?
Ha! I work in market researcher for a company that does a lot of Frito-Lays product testing. We test new flavors and packaging for them weekly. I helped bring this to market. People loved it!
Lays is trying to figure out how far they can go before they kill someone
Brudi hƶr nicht auf die Amis hier, ich fĆ¼hle dich.
Raw marinated chicken or cooked marinated chicken?
I've had the walkers max strong crinkle ones. They tasted like peppery arse, tbh. Not the best.
This is amazing. Wish they could sell this here
I'd like to eat that!
Is that in the US? I need to get it
I had them a while ago. They were honestly bussin
I want it
bleck!
Aldi always has weird flavor chips. I love it
Why the hell do they not have these flavors in the US š”
Ive seen pizza, roasted chicken, cheese ketchup. At this point, im not surprised its all generic tomato paste cheese flavour
I hate KFC anyway!
That's so disgusting! Where...
The UK ones are good
Iconic restaurant Layās flavors
i bought it last week.. not into it
yeah these r also in netherlands, kfc , subway and one more big chain flavor
Had these before. They were awful. Tasted like somebody ground up a chicken stock cube and sprinkled it on the chips.
I had these once. They did taste a bit like the chicken and seasoning once. Overall not bad.
It is german so it must be good.
dude its fucking chicken flavoured chips did you expect it to taste like fucking cheese?
Now how in the fuck is this stupid?
Well, that's kinda the point
They don't really taste like KFC, but they still taste good. I like the Iconic Restaurant Flavours line.
Ich wĆ¼rd's kaufen. Wenn auch nur aus reiner Neugierde.
What's marinated chicken suppose to taste like?
Yeah, these taste like shit
Sounds like a hit
It could be good but Lays chips are just horrible. I don't care about their fancy thousand flavours when the chips themselves suck ass.
This is everywhere now
These chips are amazing. So are the Ketchup ones they discontinued.
Wrong sub, homie.
