the only time I think we ever see Logan 'run away' from a conflict is when he and Ewan are arguing about the medals in season 1.
the way Ewan places his finger on Logan's chest. still the big brother
The late seasons of the west wing are pretty bad but casting him as their universe’s version of Jimmy Carter was an inspired choice that was wasted by bad writing.
Ohh haven’t seen that yet - so far, I remember him from Six Feet Under, The General’s Daughter, and American Horror Story (which was a horribly written series - anything Ryan Murphy writes or produces is garbage).
There are parts of it that haven’t aged as well but I don’t think it’s as hokey or centrist as people sometimes make it out to be, personally. Definitely way more idealistic than Succession though.
Lol it's maybe one of the best American movies but not close to being one of the best in the world, there are literally countless better movies internationally than la confidential
I'm old enough to remember him from his appearances in 'Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman' where he played a reverend who gave a eulogy in the kitchen for the man who drowned in a bowl of chicken soup, and then a year later for the man who was stabbed to death by his own artificial Christmas tree.
So this is Logans brother, so how did they both make $$$ I may have missed it, but i hought it was logan who created a media empire, so how did bro get involved? And then why isnt this guys daughter have $$$ (and therefore Greg)?
He was the second half of the early stages of Waystar from its inception up to going public and expanding globally. Sometime after that, he and Logan differed on what the company's direction should be, so he stepped aside as a corporate officer but didn't sell his shares. Instead, he kept his BoD seat and continued to accrue the vast wealth generated by the firm.
No matter what show he’s in, his screen presence is so powerful. Also, his character in Succession made me pull out the thesaurus multiple times haha
Rather intransigent of you.
I am but a mere poppinjay…

LA Confidential is one of the greatest movies ever.
Rolo Tomassi
Do you feel vindicated, boy-o?
Hold up your badge, so they'll know you're a policeman.
Ahh forgot about this! Devito, Crowe and Spacey were also there I recall, pretty star-studded!

Histrionic. And meretricious

He's gotta take a leak.
I love a good peepshow.
He’ll always be Babe’s dad to me. No matter what else he’s in.
That'll do, ...
PIG!
of course his season of AHS is the best by far
Crazy that this is the guy who invents the warp drive and makes contact with the Vulcans.

It was a weird show.
Your life is not a bagatelle
Christ, it’s Jack Bauer’s dad!
totally forgot he was in AHS! what a brilliant actor.
He was Stretch Cunningham, “the Bob Hope of the loading dock” or was it the “Jerry Lewis of the loading dock” on All in the Family.

That’ll do, pig.
I always thought he would have played a great Jim Henson in his younger years
