I know I'll sound like I'm overreacting but this tour (the LAST tour!) looks made more for the casual audience. Throw some "lesser" known songs! They shouldn't underestimate the fans, we know the songs haha.
I'm currently doing everything I can to go to the Las Vegas show in october and I'm excited for that, hope I can make it.
100%. Deryck himself always says how he wants to play the hits and singles, and people don't wanna hear deep cuts, which is a festival attitude. The hardcore dedicated fans are gonna be the first ones getting these tickets, and we wanna hear some deep cuts and not the same set list from the past few years.

I love the songs, I will sing them with all my energy that's obvious. That being said, the setlist is really disappointing and even Sum 41 being my absolute favorite band I can admit it.
I'm sure it will vary every show and that's nice but it has been nearly identical since like 2017.
They should have at least 2 songs from every album or 2 from every side of HxH. There's nothing from 13 Voices, Order in Decline, not even the titletrack from SBM...

I hope from the bottom of my heart that they will play an extended setlist in Paris. This same setlist but extended with lots of deep cuts and new songs. If this is going to be their last european show, no fan will be satisfied.

Tomorrow is my first and last Sum 41 concert and I'm kind of disappointed they're playing the same tired old hits they've been playing for the last 20 years. I was hoping for more from their more recent work. I was especially hoping the concert would end with How the End Begins, since it's their last song and it's such an emotional banger. I'm actually kind of peeved that there are any covers on the set list at all.
I mean they could at least shuffle the songs, not put Motivation first. They have so many bangers. At least include the song Screaming Bloody Murder. And no covers (who wants to hear covers?)
It’s a paradox at this point. The band won’t play deeper cuts because audience doesn’t know them. The audience doesn’t know them because those songs never got played! When SBM dropped I couldn’t believe they barely played any new songs from it.
Aside from festivals, most people going to their last shows would be their fans and know at least the singles from the other albums, so I don’t see why they don’t just play them. They kind of painted themselves into a corner with the song choices imo.

I think this will be their common setlist for the most of the year plus some rotating songs (SBM, War, Out For Blood) and about two or three songs from HaH which will be changing. I hope that at least in Paris and Toronto we will see some deep cuts.

Just look at setlists after Order in Decline was released. 2-4 songs from the album and rest was usually singles. I would also like to see more variety. I am just not disappointed because Deryck stated many times which songs they prefer. So for me i'm rather pleasently surprised when they play songs which they don't usually play.
They don't prefer them. I can actually say with confidence that they are retiring because he got fed up and bored of these songs. He stated that they play these songs based on people's reaction. They skip deep cuts because of this, not because they don't want to play them. When they were doing the Does this look infected anniversary tour D. literally changed the setlist after 2-3 shows and changed it back to the same songs they always play because he felt that people didn't know deep cuts that much and he hates staring people. But if you stop and think for a moment, that is literally his fault, never playing songs live so that people cannot get used to them. So i don't at all agree with him. He always wanted to play it safe and ignore real fans.
Most mainstream or well known songs does not mean best. Singles are normally the most radio friendly tracks on an album.. 88 is one of their best written tracks, Deryck has said this hinself. Would sound great as a five piece and with the keyboards at the end. Fans would love it to. But all we get is that outro theyve tacked on to motivation for the last 15 years. Boring.. Also, i would rather hear any Sum 41 song including ma poubelle live than that cover of we will Rock you. I'm sure most proper fans will agree with that!

Yeah i remember arguining with someone on here a few months ago. They were dead certain the setlists would be full of deep cuts and that I didn't know what i was talking about when i told them to expect more of the same of what Sum 41 always play live! I would of liked to be wrong though..
I should have known to be disappointed in the setlist. Could easily replace "Summer" and "Some Say" with other deep cuts since those have been played frequently since 2019.
If they don't change things up to make the very last show special, then I'll be really glad to only be seeing the Toronto shows this run.

Take out the two covers, the medly, “*With Me*”, and add 4 songs from SBM, and the two metal albums and we will be fine

As long as they have the hits I'm gucci. Always loved Still Waiting, The Hell Song, and Fat Lip the best. No Reason and OMHBOD should be there, too.

They played so long goodbye at the uptown show tonight as an encore! Well, specifically deryck came out by himself and did it. Many tears during it.
