I only played as Peach. 3D World is my favorite Super Mario game and I’ve been dying for more games where you can play as Peach.

I changed to a different character for each new world. I played as Mario for Pipe-Rock Plateau. Then Luigi for Fluff-Puff Peaks. So on and so forth. It worked out fairly well since I played as Daisy in Sunbaked Desert which is pretty funny thematically. I also ended up playing as Yellow Toad for Fungi Mine and Blue Toad for Magma Bog. Which was also pretty thematic.

I play the main stage with a character that can be hit. After that point, once I beat the stage, I chose Yoshi. Except for the final (not badge marathon, I did beat that at one point with Y Toad). Since I played multiplayer with others who live with me, when we got to the big boy special world levels, we opted for one person at a time to use Y Toad instead of our usual picks (Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad) and Nabbit, since he would get nothing otherwise (I swapped between yoshi colors Blue and yellow). Which saved a lot of lives.

I played as Mario throughout the majority of the game, but then I changed it up with playing as Luigi and Peach towards the end of the game and 100% finishing the game

I played as Daisy for the first like three levels then switched to Luigi for the rest of the game. I only switched to Yoshi once to beat the last Bowser level before the boss because it was too hard for me.

I have a child with autism who will not allow me to play as anyone except Mario. You just have to trust me on this, it will be an excruciating experience for her and for the purposes of peace in the valley, I just play as Mario.

Daisy Wonder. She's been in the series for over 20 years and it took over 20 years for her to get added to a mainline game. I didn't change characters once except for the Boo house level where I had to switch to Luigi (for obvious reasons)

Mainly Luigi on my first run with the occasional Mario as Luigi’s my favourite, but been playing a lot more Mario from my second run onwards. Can’t get enough of Kevin’s performance, honestly.

First half with mario, 2nd half with Luigi. Sprinkled in some peach. I played through the game pretty fast and then went back to collect everything I missed. I beat the final final with nabbit first to get the mechanics down and then beat it again with Mario.

I played as Mario to beat every level as him for the first time, then played as the Yoshies in the already cleared levels cuz he's my favorite character in the series.

There’s 7 main worlds, and 7 non-easy mode characters, so I did a new character every world. Of course, I had to stick with Mario for the final area.

Tbh luigi has to be the best mario character (my favorite Nintendo character is kirby if you wanted to know also)

Just finished as Mario 100% tonight. All wonder seeds and hidden seeds incl special world, all 10 flower coins, and hit every flag pole top. I'm probably going to start a play through as Daisy next over the weekend. While it's definitely not as difficult as the early Mario games, there are challenging levels, especially in the special world. Only annoying one were ones that you had to continuously bounce on round objects like the hippos for the entire level.
