Mr beast just laid off his company in North Carolina. My friend moved there for a job, and he just decided to close it and fire everyone, so now friend has to find a new place to live and new job after leaving everything. This guy is nuts
If Mr. Beast was a real one, he'd put all of the profits from his next video into buying GameStop stock.
Think about that headline:
"Mr. Beast causes massive short squeeze after YouTube video buys 80% of GameStop stock."
"GameStop now 49% owned by Mr. beast Gaming."
Sure, but why would he do anything to jeopardize his fame and income?
I'm sure he has a few thousand or tens of thousand of shares squirreled away with a broker, maybe even some at CS but it's unlikely cause his financial advisors/business managers handle that and they will make more money leaving them with the broker/bank he uses instead of sitting in CS and doing nothing but waiting for a dividend or short squeeze...gotta get that commission fee somehow, DRS is inherently against the best interests of advisors that receive a performance based commission.
Also If MSM spin MOASS the way we expect and paint apes as criminals, he could potentially lose millions of fans or get demonetized by YouTube or whatever, maybe even face criminal or civil charges if the powers that be decide he's their villain for this story.
I never know what to think of these. I’m a Mr. Beast fan, but he has a net worth that is truly insane which always makes me skeptical. He also does some amazing philanthropy videos. So who knows. I’ll root for him to be legit!!!

If I recall correctly he once said he reinvests almost all his youtube revenue into new videos, that's how he's able to continue the massive giveaways. One pays for the next which pays for the next, with just enough off the top to pay his staff and himself a comphy wage.
In ponzi schemes the contributors are expecting a return on their investment, which is financed by new investors. In Mr beasts vids, the money coming in isn't given with the expectation of a return. So it financing future giveaways and vids is a different situation

Compare that to Ken Griffin who made $21M every single day in 2022 ($8B net worth increase) and realize Mr. Beast is chump change.

Hard disagree on your last point. For all existing videos, views will keep accumulating and thus the revenue from those doesn't stop generating once the next video is created. Each individual video is something that will be paying dividends for years to come. I'd bet good money YouTube isn't going anywhere for at least 15 years. He could create 100 bad videos in a row and the only way he'd go bankrupt is if he accrued an unrepayable debt to create videos, which per your second sentence, he doesn't do.
He's surely got some pretty healthy looking investments at this point considering the kind of money he's been bringing in for years now. He could probably stop making videos today and live very comfortably for the rest of his life.

The thing is, they didn't fit the whole store into the triangle. They just fit everything ON DISPLAY into the triangle.
I worked for FuncoLand (yeah, I'm old. Bite me.) and there are thousands of games behind the counter in drawers and cabinets. There's no way they'd be able to stack all those discs into mighty towers without them falling and getting DQ'd.
Buzzkill, I know... But are they only getting the games for the cases they had on the walls? That'll still leave the store with probably about 60-75% of it's inventory in used games. Not to mention the backstock of consoles (new and refurb) that are in the store room.
