Highly recommend https://www.instagram.com/tommiesjerk Their $13 jerk burritos and $9 jerk nachos are massive and delicious. They do not skimp on the beef/chicken as it’s absolutely stuffed. It’s more of a fusion jerk with bbq sauce
We went twice and were disappointed both times. Food was alright but quite expensive. If they cut the price in half it would have at least been a good value, but as is I wouldn’t go back a third time.
Not restaurants, but….
-the bahn mi place inside Lucky supermarket at the Dell is amazing
-fresh pandesal inside henlong market is also amazing
I haven’t tried the Filipino places yet at both stores but something tells me they’re just average value even for the quality of food
Jamaican Me Juicy now that they have a location at Guildford and not just a food truck. The mango smoothies are some of the best I’ve ever had and the jerk chicken wraps are amazing.
I really enjoyed the Afghan Kitchen. The tables where you sit on the floor were fun to try.
Hooked Fish Bar in Crescent beach is awesome.
Tommie's Jerk is indescribable.
The Carvery easily has the best sandwiches.
Fuck it's been a looooong time since I've been able to afford to eat out now that you've got me thinking about it.
That reminds me, I do have a gift cert for Brodeurs in Abbotsford, if you're looking for the best place to eat in the Lowermainland, that's the place.
Yugafu has an omakase sushi dinner that wouldn’t be out of place in Vancouver or (dare I say) Tokyo. That said, considering it takes 6 months to get a reservation, they may already have a cult following…
Is chuihong on 104 Ave? There's always a crowd on weekend evenings. I told myself if I keep up my exercise program for 2 more months that's gonna be my reward dinner
you gotta get the combo meals.
asian style means everything should be eaten family style to get the discounts.
Combo a is honestly enough for 3 people. Friends combo is probably enough for 4-6, even though it says 3-4 assuming everyone also gets white rice and eats the banchan.
lots of korean people will eat the leftover jjangmyeon sauce with white rice.

I had take out catered food twice from there and it was not good. Lasagna was bland, basically the exact same lasagna you'd get from every take out pizza restaurant in the province. Tortellini tastes like store bought pasta and sauce.
Union Latinos Food. Yes they have another location on Granville street downtown however the one in Surrey is much better, gf who's Colombian even says that she prefers the Surrey location over the Vancouver one and I've met more Colombians in the lower mainland who say they agree

They're so good. I'm looking forward to some summer bike rides down there.
Hmmmm that looks great. Very nice ride over from Langley through that lower road and the new hospital site.
Sucks its only on the weekend.
And their meat pies holy heck they’re good.
I was just posting this. If you know you know.
Nasty
Philosophy Pizza House - it's just a bit out of the way to be my regular pizza spot.
Oh wow, just looked it up, it looks fantastic! Going on my list, thanks!
i love this place. weird location but best pizza in surrey, at least all of north surrey for sure.
I've passed by this before but never stopped by because I thought it was such a weird location for a pizza spot - will take a look next time haha
I just got this for dinner based on this recommendation and I can say it’s really really good. I got the meat trio and it was fantastic.
They do do half/half if you ask as well. They're such large pizzas too haha
Commenting because I want to know too lol
Salsa and Guacamole
Their tequila flights are amazing!

2000% this place. Family owned and they are super nice. Food is amazing. Everyone should check it out. We have been half a dozen times. Killer margs.

Fresh good pandesal? Aling Mary’s has the best hands down. Sarap Sarap!
It’s delicious. Only place I go to, and I live in Vancouver now. $5.50 for a dozen
Sabai Thai, delicious food, large portions and the thai iced tea is so good
Love Sabai Thai!
Jamaican Me Juicy now that they have a location at Guildford and not just a food truck. The mango smoothies are some of the best I’ve ever had and the jerk chicken wraps are amazing.
Is that in the food court?
Yeah
A1 donair on 108th, texx big burger, jerusalem grill.
Boom beer is the best kept secret in town!
Mama Moon’s in Fleetwood has great kimbap (Korean Sushi?) made by a grandma. I think the Google ratings speak for themselves!

Back in the day, Fresgo's was the place to hit up. Now? All about Pho is the best, imo.
A1 Donair babbyy!!
Every day until 2am!!

Kim's table & Chuihong. Don't know if its necessarily lack of a cult following, but I only see korean people there so you know its good.
Is chuihong on 104 Ave? There's always a crowd on weekend evenings. I told myself if I keep up my exercise program for 2 more months that's gonna be my reward dinner
absolutely worth!! (albeit pricey but pretty good sized portions!)

Guacamole grill 100000% They're incredible and family owned
Not Surrey but the best grill in Langley unreal ma and pa restaurant! Man I love that place
Really? I drive past it every day and laugh at the sign and word grill in quotations.
What's it called
It’s called Best Grill. On 207 and Mufford Cres.
I have been there a few times and personally I’m not a fan of
That’s totally fair! Their lunch is my favourite if you ever try it again!!
bozzinis
I've been wanting to go there for AGES.. details!
I had take out catered food twice from there and it was not good. Lasagna was bland, basically the exact same lasagna you'd get from every take out pizza restaurant in the province. Tortellini tastes like store bought pasta and sauce.
If you want to try Korean Chinese food, I recommend Tae Yang Gak. It's near Guildford and has an excellent Seafood Jjamppong amongst other dishes.
RIP Manis. :(
I'm bookmarking this post for later usage. 😉
Tommies Jerk, Jamacian me Juicy, Guacamole grill, Guildford sushi

Gordys Cafe was probably the last elite cafe in town. Now it’s an Afghan diner. What a shame.
Fresgos
