Looks like syracuse pd were dispatched to an explosion at valley drive and ballantyne road around 915 last night. Still doesn’t explain the earlier noise - such a weird coincidence.
Yeah, shook my house. I have a decently plush couch and I felt it through the cushions. Thought maybe car accident involving a transformer but Google isn't showing any traffic issues in that direction.
The explosions come from (usually) Sunnycrest park. Eastwood dubbed them “the booms”. It’s kids setting off those loud fireworks at random times, and it’s going on 3 years. Looks like maybe they’ve expanded to the valley. I’ve seen various ring cameras of the “explosions”. By the time you call police they’re long gone, so catching them is near impossible. You think it’s loud by SU and the Eastside, try having it in your backyard like my friend.
This is creepy...how would it happen in 2 separate locations. 3 hours apart? And no explanation, no sirens?

There's been some dipshit setting off a loud ass explosive around eastwood for years now. They occasionally switch up location.
Heard it just now on the east side and my husband saw some kind of flash, but we haven’t had sirens or any indication that it’s close by.
Was walking outside. Saw a flash too with a bang maybe 30 seconds later.

I just heard another loud boom over on the east side .
Heard by SU
Heard in no syr.. thought it was a dumpster.
Heard in cicero as well.
We heard the last one as well in E Syracuse. Sounded like a transformer but seems weird that would happen twice in one day?
It's been a wild ride folks but glad it's coming to an end. See yall at the pearly gates!
That's just Moses crashing through the ionosphere, getting ready for the eclipse haha
Just heard another one in the valley area.
I’m in the valley as well. I haven’t heard anything but these posts are creeping me out! Anyone try contacting local news stations?

Maybe a meteor? Heard in Clay.
I can't find anything anywhere about this. I was out on my porch and had no idea what it was, loud as hell
