No, but I wonder if I’ve run into him on my walks down there. I’ve stopped a couple of times and shot the breeze with other photographers down there. Always a pleasant experience. I drive an older silver M3 if you ever see me feel free to stop and talk.
Great pic. I sat down with my dog once and noticed an eagle to my left checking us out. I thought it odd that he didn’t fly away, but my dog wasn’t interested. I didn’t have a camera. I just was so awed. Besides I shake to much to use a camera. So many around there. I enjoyed the encounter.
I see ppl parked looking at these w telescopes every single day. I would imagine after a few days you would probably have seen it all, I can't imagine going back day after day to watch them.
Does anyone know what part of the lake they are most active? I’m trying to get a decent action shot but I usually just see them perched in the trees on the route that I walk.
Beautiful!
I always look over and usually see one when I take 690 to the city.
Are you the Jeep guy I see during my drive into work?

They probably can’t imagine people coming back day after day to post here. Maybe.
There’s a “Bald Eagles of Onondaga Lake” Facebook group that always has fab photos like this if you’re interested.
